About the role

Develop and execute the strategic business and tactical plans of our Access, Delivery and Drainage product categories representing a high-growth segment in the Interventional Oncology & Embolization franchise. This individual will play a key role in the global launch of the Next Generation Microcatheter, helping lead the strategic and tactical plans in partnership with the broader team. Provide strategic recommendations for new business opportunities and initiatives to advance the growth and profitability of the category.

 

The position will involve primarily downstream marketing however may include some upstream marketing initiatives, providing the opportunity to manage and help influence all aspects of the portfolio.

 

Your responsibilities include

  • Lead all commercialization efforts for the global launch of launch of the Next Generation Microcatheter, in 2026.
  • Support the creation and drive the fulfillment of the franchise commercialization plan while partnering with upstream, global and cross-functional team members. 
  • Drive and execute required research to ensure successful product commercialization efforts.  Research could be qualitative or quantitative, executed by internal or external resources, could involve hands-on evaluations in R&D or pre-clinical settings, and could require engagement with various global customer groups.
  • Use classic marketing capabilities: market understanding, market segmentation, product positioning, message development, channel identification, forecasting, tool and communication creation and execution to further business objectives. 
  • Serve as a clinical expert and functional advisor to external and internal customers. 
  • Develop a strong partnership with U.S. sales management and field. Provide insight and direction highlighting customer level opportunities and risks in our top accounts.
  • Gain alignment with global Franchise stakeholders on new business opportunities.  
  • Track performance against objectives and plans, formulating new approaches and strategies as needed, including contingency plans for critical tactical plans. 
  • Identify best practices to address key business challenges and opportunities. 
  • Help to foster an open, challenging, stimulating and positive environment that enables colleagues to be their best.

 

 What we’re looking for: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
  • 5+ years of Marketing/Business experience required.
  • Experience managing products that are medically/clinically oriented; medical device experience a plus, but not required
  • Experience in leading a product launch and managing the programs needed to make a launch as impactful as possible
  • Experience building relationships with key customers and cross-functional partners focused on the sales organization
  • Experience creating impactful marketing plans, and developing value propositions, positioning and targeting
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment and partner with internal/external stakeholders
  • Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
