About the Role:
The SFDC Business Manager leads the US Sales Enablement-Salesforce.com Interventional Cardiology (IC) and Peripheral Interventions (PI) product teams in evaluating business opportunities, delivering strategic commercial capabilities, supporting technical operations and optimizing Salesforce.com execution. You will empower teams to work across divisional functions to influence change and unleash the potential of our Salesforce.com platform for our IC and PI divisions. At Boston Scientific we love what we do, and instinctively know how to make work fun. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead a team of Salesforce.com product owners responsible for implementing the Salesforce.com platform in the businesses.  Coordinates and communicates between divisional sales, marketing, service and sales operations teams.
  • Identify and drive areas of opportunity to standardize, drive leverage, and automate activities to drive efficiency.
  • Build a business relationship across our Information Technology partners to establish technology requirements for Salesforce and related customer success applications
  • Set the business priorities that maximize broad leverage while enabling the localized innovation within US IC and PI product teams.
  • Identify and review program risks, issues, and escalations, driving solutions as necessary.
  • Partner with other leaders on key change initiatives like master data management and master revenue management to provide recommendation on future state roadmap.
  • Supports division strategic planning for Salesforce.com Sales Cloud and emerging/related applications.
  • Develops standards and best practices for sales and service productivity, revenue enablement and customer success applications.
  • Identify, implement and support technology solutions that increase salesforce productivity and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate across divisions to uncover best practices and to capitalize on sales and service model synergies that impact efficiency and revenue growth.
  • Evaluate growth opportunities, managing all aspects of strategic evaluation and implementation process: identification and awareness of problem/opportunity; market, competitive and customer analysis, creation of strategic recommendations; management of pilot programs in the field; planning and communication of field execution.
  • Partner with internal and external consultants to create scalable solutions that improve customer satisfaction. 

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree 
  • Minimum 7 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience  
  • At least 5 years broad experience in Sales Operations or with Salesforce.com
  • Demonstrated capability to synthesize inputs gathered from a variety of sources into a cohesive product vision from an end-to-end perspective
  • Demonstrated technology/systems acumen with sales enablement solutions
  • Demonstrated people management / leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Highly detail oriented, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated strategic view - pragmatic/economic considerations while prioritizing functionality and long-term organizational benefit

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree
  • Strong project management skills, including effectively managing multiple priorities
  • Candidate must have experience working successfully within a matrix organization, effectively influencing cross-functionally, across divisions and at various levels of management
  • Demonstrated ability to make and own decisions, as well as clearly articulate key considerations
  • Lean business/VIP experience
  • Vendor management experience
