About the role:
The Sr. Business Systems Analyst is responsible for translating business strategies into actionable plans, and serves as a bridge between business needs, data integration solutions, and equipment software integration standards. This role involves understanding legacy systems and collaborating cross-functionally to generate ideas for next-generation manufacturing equipment, while utilizing new technologies and best practices to deliver exceptional data-integrated equipment. The incumbent will identify business requirements, analyze processes, and recommend data-driven solutions to enhance efficiency and achieve business objectives. At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week.

Your responsibilities will Include:
- Implementing data integration architecture solutions and standards to address business concerns and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture direction and standards
- Collaborating with data operations, equipment software controls, project managers and manufacturing teams to create customer specifications; partner with process owners to understand requirements
- Gathering and analyzing data insights to support manufacturing operations and influence strategy discussions with cross-functional teams and site leadership
- Using appropriate methods and tools to define and re-engineer manufacturing and data systems; leverage new technologies to execute complex manufacturing equipment projects
- Creating product and process data maps to translate local and enterprise data architecture requirements for the targeted value stream into equipment specific requirements for equipment software controls resources
- Managing system integration needs and educating cross functional teams on related constraints and opportunities; provide guidance to functional owners and staff regarding manufacturing system integration process activities
- Participating in assessment and proposal phases of equipment engineering equipment development lifecycle to inform customer requirements specifications for specific equipment build requests
- Participating in site-level data governance efforts to drive data standardization for equipment-related projects and ensure consistency across all business units
- Keeping abreast of industry trends and advancements in manufacturing technologies to drive continuous improvement initiatives
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a discipline related to science or business
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst and/or Solution Architect
- Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience in a regulated industry
- Minimum of 5 years leveraging manufacturing data and analytics to drive key quality initiatives and value improvements
- Experience driving large scale change management initiatives
- Strong understanding of data integration architecture and enterprise architecture standards
- Experience leveraging new technologies and related applications to achieve business goals
- Strong project management skills with ability to achieve deliverables successfully
- Experience with SQL, Angular, .NET, Java, and manufacturing equipment control systems
Preferred qualifications:
- Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management systems and mobile application development
- Analytical approach with strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate ambiguous situations
- Ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to communicate with individuals on all levels and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Proficient with MS Office, Visio, Project, Gitlab, or similar applications
