About the role:
Boston Scientific’s Renal Denervation Franchise is seeking a Senior Commercial Group Marketing Manager to lead downstream marketing and commercialization efforts for a high-impact global product launch. You will play a pivotal role in driving go-to-market strategy, brand development, sales enablement, physician engagement, and lifecycle management in a competitive and dynamic medical device space.
This position requires a strong mix of commercial acumen, leadership, and deep understanding of the healthcare landscape. You will collaborate across functions—including Sales, R&D, Clinical, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, and Supply Chain—to ensure cohesive and impactful execution of marketing strategies that accelerate growth and improve patient outcomes.

 

Work Mode:
At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Define go-to-market strategies for product launches, commercial programs, and sales initiatives; drive market adoption and differentiation.
  • Leverage market insights, competitive analysis, and customer feedback to shape messaging, brand positioning, and commercialization plans.
  • Lead physician engagement initiatives including advisory boards, speaker programs, and peer-to-peer education efforts.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare providers, and decision-makers.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless alignment across Sales, R&D, Clinical, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, and Supply Chain.
  • Analyze ROI metrics to further develop data-driven plans and communicate results to internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure executional excellence in field marketing activation, communications, and downstream initiatives.
  • Support competitive response planning and implementation.

 

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in medical device marketing or sales.
  • Strong commercial strategy skills with proven success in market development, product launches, and physician engagement.
  • Experience in customer segmentation, messaging development, and sales enablement.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and execute complex projects.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills across internal and external audiences.
  • Travel up to 30% domestically and globally.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or advanced degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Experience managing people and developing talent.

Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

 

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
