About the Role

We are seeking a Digital Experience Specialist to drive the evolution of our global professional education ecosystem — building seamless, engaging, and effective digital journeys for healthcare professionals (HCPs) across key therapeutic areas and geographies. Sitting at the intersection of medical education, digital content, commercial strategy, and customer experience, this role is ideal for a digital-first thinker with a passion for storytelling, learning design, and strategic enablement. You will partner closely with US and global teams in education, marketing, medical affairs, regulatory, IT, and commercial enablement to shape scalable and measurable HCP digital experiences that advancing patient outcomes through HCP education.

 

 

At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and optimization of digital communication journeys about learning experiences involving EDUCARE educational platform, Cvent events management platform, .com and eCommerce content hubs.
• Translate HCP engagement with education objectives into interactive, user-centered content & communications flows that align with global education strategy.
• Collaborate with content owners, product experts, and extended & global Professional Education teams to ensure communication journeys are relevant, accessible, and compliant.
• Partner with Professional Education, commercial and marketing teams to support campaigns, product launches, and field enablement through integrated communication pathways.
• Use analytics and behavioral insights to optimize content journeys, user flows, and digital touchpoints.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on platform capabilities, digital UX, and HCP engagement trends.
• Support localization and adaptation of content across multiple languages and geographies.
• Ensure all materials meet US and global compliance, legal, and regulatory standards (including GDPR & MDR).
• Work cross-functionally with IT, content & design agencies, COE’s, and global teams to implement scalable digital communications solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, UX Design, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in digital content strategy, UX, or learning experience design — preferably in MedTech, pharma, or healthcare education.
• Familiarity with professional education platforms (LMS/CMS systems) and content governance frameworks.
• Strong understanding of digital UX, user journey design, and content lifecycle planning.
• Excellent collaboration skills; experience working with commercial, medical, marketing, and regulatory functions.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across stakeholders in a matrixed environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in Professional Education or HCP engagement role.
• Knowledge of compliance standards in the medical device or pharmaceutical industries.
• Experience with data-driven optimization using tools like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc.
• Understanding of adult learning principles and digital learning trends (e.g., microlearning, mobile-first content).

Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

 

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
