About the role


The Senior Financial Analyst will provide financial planning, reporting and analysis in support of the PCI Guidance business.  Prepares financial plans, forecasts, monthly close reporting, and strategic planning. Gathers and publishes financial information related to historical, current and future performance for management reporting.  Performs financial analysis and brings forward recommendations utilizing appropriate financial concepts and techniques.


Responsibilities include:


  • Support revenue and standard margin planning and reporting for the US PCI Guidance business.  This includes a strong understanding of US market share, pricing trends, and new product launch strategy.  In addition, this business is capital equipment intensive and thus a strong accounting acumen is beneficial to ensure proper leasing and revenue recognition impact is assessed for new programs.
  • Consolidate and assist with Regional and World Wide revenue, pricing, and margin reporting.
  • Work with US Sales and Marketing teams to create a US PCI Guidance Market Model
  • Coordinate with International Finance and Marketing teams on a Global PCI Guidance Market Model
  • Facilitate detailed financial forecasts and strategic plans across Marketing, Finance, and Sales incorporating historic, trended and current business information.
  • Provide PCI Guidance franchise support assessing both internal and external business opportunities through the use of financial valuation techniques (NPV, IRR, etc.…), market assessments, and other more advanced financial modeling concepts.
  • Present forecasts and other ad hoc information to a variety of audiences, including Interventional Cardiology Senior Leadership.
  • Provide financial support for standard margin to include financial planning, reporting, and target costing.
  • Prepare and distribute financial reports and packages by gathering and analyzing information related to current performance.
  • Perform financial analysis, as directed by management, and recommend alternatives courses of action by utilizing appropriate financial tools.
  • Develop and utilize sound financial processes.
  • Assist in month end close as needed to ensure proper accounting.  Must demonstrate a strong understanding of US GAAP.


 What we’re looking for:


 Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting. MBA or CPA a plus.
  • 3+ years’ progressive experience in similar Finance or Accounting role
  • Excellent computer skills (financial modeling, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and preferably SAP, Hyperion).
  • Strong financial analysis, communication, organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment, adhere to tight deadlines, attention to detail.
  • Must have highly developed customer relationship skills with strong service orientation.
  • Holds self-accountable to a performance metric culture building performance excellence.
  • Team orientated.
