About the role:
This Senior Product Manager has global responsibility for our intravascular coronary imaging and physiology capital and hardware equipment for our Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) Guidance business. The focus of this role is downstream marketing which includes development and implementation of marketing messages, programs, and tactics to drive share as well as product lifecycle management and sustaining projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead global marketing strategy development, execute promotional tactics and sustaining initiatives for key product lines in PCI Guidance
- Lead global downstream commercial execution for intravascular imaging including end of sale and end of service programs
- Monitor and track the progress of new customer capital equipment installs across global regions
- Track product performance against objectives and plans, formulating new approaches and strategies as needed
- Identify best practices to address key business challenges and opportunities
- Assess and make recommendations about product lifecycle based on regional inputs and needs
- Monitor competitive activity and collaborate with R&D on competitive assessments
- Update and create marketing collateral and materials in partnership with marketing communications
- Develop recommendations on pricing and positioning strategies
- Partner with supply chain and regional marketing on forecasting and inventory management
- Collaborate with internal functions, including regional marketing, upstream marketing, program management, medical education and sales teams on marketing programs and company initiatives impacting the product portfolio
- Represent the company at tradeshows, customer events, and account visits
- Build relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) to understand product performance and future opportunities
- Contribute to the development of an annual departmental budget by forecasting future needs, utilizing marketing objectives and budget guidelines.
- Exhibit professionalism to help foster an open, challenging, stimulating and positive environment to enable colleagues to be their best
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years of experience in product marketing
- Demonstrated success managing complex projects
- Willingness to travel up to 20% (international included)
Preferred qualifications:
- Advanced degree (Masters, MBA)
- Medical device industry experience
- IVUS, OCT, physiology or diagnostic imaging experience
