About this role:
The Senior Group Manager, Scientific Affairs is to lead a team that leads the development and supports the execution of the medical science and medical education strategic initiatives. The team members will provide medical and scientific therapeutic area expertise to cross-function teams and completes deliverables in support of ICTx product strategy. This role will largely focus on clinical and scientific data generation and dissemination to a variety of constituents and will work globally and cross functionally to ensure relevance and timeliness in content delivery.
This is a Maple Grove, Minnesota based hybrid role with 3 days in office when not traveling for customer engagements.

Your responsibilities will include:
⦁ Develop and execute clinical data dissemination strategies and tools to educate and support internal and external audiences; globally
⦁ Ensure team members develop a deep understanding of the clinical science supporting assigned product line
⦁ Coordinate internally to develop, facilitate and track execution of longitudinal strategic publication plans in close partnership with clinical affairs, R&D and other internal constituents
⦁ Stay up to date on industry wide relevant scientific content related to your product lines, regularly summarize and disseminate new studies, study results and messaging to internal teams
⦁ Manage non IDE publication related activities associated with product(s)
⦁ Creates a library of education materials aligned with the above to be used for physician-based content aligned with organizational strategic objectives and both clinical and commercial priorities.
⦁ Provides Advisory Board leadership and support with content
⦁ Partner closely with regional medical affairs and medical education colleagues to ensure global impact of activities
⦁ Identify KOLs within assigned therapeutic space, develop engagement strategies in partnership with other functional partners
⦁ Develops strategic relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, therapeutic area leaders, scientific societies, external influencers and internal stakeholders in support of above-listed activities.
⦁ Partners closely with medical education to identify symposia opportunity, topic/content for presentation, including new and relevant clinical data
⦁ Seek to globalize scientific initiatives to facilitate local execution
⦁ Provide direct leadership and professional growth of team members through guidance, coaching and development
Required qualifications:
⦁ Minimum of 7 years relevant experience in medical device industry, or 5 years with advanced medical or scientific degree
⦁ Ability to quickly interpert and digest clinical data
⦁ Ability to travel up to 30%, both domestically and internationally.
⦁ Proven customer facing experience, KOL engagement/relationship building with demonstrated examples
Preferred qualifications:
⦁ Experience in scientific publications and being able to provide demonstrated examples
⦁ Previous and proven experience in a global role
