About the role:

This individual is a key business partner providing strategic guidance to the IC US Global Leadership team.  She or he will partner with Leaders and HR to design people and organization strategies and plans that support business objectives.


Your responsibilities include: 

  • Providing strategic HR direction to our US Leaders and assigned groups to enable business objectives.
  • Diagnosing opportunities to improve the performance of the organization utilizing tools to measure organization effectiveness e.g. 360 feedback surveys, employee metrics, benchmarking data, external market and industry trends.
  • Partnering with our global DE&I Consultant in leading DE&I for IC, supporting our global IC Inclusion Council and leading our IC DE&I HR led initiatives
  • Leading change management initiatives with organizational leaders to address business priorities to embed the Boston Scientific and IC culture
  • Partnering with HR COEs to provide VOC input, supporting the design and defining the program plan to implement and embed into our practices, processes and culture
  • Conducting regular leadership and succession planning sessions with client groups and implement action plans to ensure succession ready bench and development of high potentials.
  • Partnering with Talent Acquisition to provide recruitment consultation (with a broader business/function perspective to drive proactive attraction of quality candidates for current and future positions with an emphasis on pipelining diverse candidates
  • Coaching and consulting with managers and employees on issues affecting morale, performance and development, helping to determine root causes and recommend appropriate strategies
  • Partnering with TM to deliver targeted and sometimes bespoke team acceleration and high performance culture consultation and support
  • Supporting the VP, HR on global and company-wide projects that support designated client groups 


What we're looking for: 

Basic Qualifications

  • BA or BS Degree required; Master’s degree valued
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a progressive Human Resources organization with direct experience supporting senior leaders and with a particular emphasis on leading DE&I programs and Talent Management experience working directly with the business
  • Demonstrated project management experience
  • Strong facilitation skills
  • Demonstrated success working in a fast paced, matrix environment, with a track record of accomplishments with measurable business impact
  • Must be able to influence senior leaders
  • Experience implementing organizational design, development and change management strategies in support of business objectives
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to analyze and utilize data to influence business decisions
  • Strong knowledge of progressive HR programs, processes and tools
  • Strong project management abilities        
  • Excellent interpersonal, communications and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated facilitation skills
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset and familiarity with continuous improvement practices
