About the Role
As the Senior Talent Acquisition Manager, you will serve as a strategic partner and consultant to our US commercial leadership teams, developing and executing talent acquisition strategies that align with business goals and cultural values. This role is pivotal in supporting all commercial teams within Boston Scientific, ensuring we attract top talent through innovative, data-driven, streamlined and inclusive practices, while enhancing our employer brand for top Commercial Talent.
You will lead and develop a high-performing Talent Acquisition team, fostering a culture of collaboration, agility, and continuous improvement. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will build strong relationships with commercial leaders, think holistically about talent attraction, and leverage AI, technology, and market intelligence to stay ahead in a competitive landscape.
In this leadership role, you will focus on:
Strategic Partnership
- Collaborate with senior commercial leaders across dynamic, highly matrixed businesses to understand evolving talent needs and deliver strategic guidance on acquisition strategies.
- Partner on succession planning, talent reviews, and workforce assessments to identify gaps and build proactive pipelines.
- Act as a trusted advisor, offering insights on market trends, competitor intelligence, and innovative talent marketing tactics to inform decision-making.
Innovation & Talent Attraction
- Drive holistic and creative approaches to talent marketing, leveraging AI-enabled tools, technology platforms, and data analytics to enhance candidate engagement and experience.
- Develop and implement cutting-edge sourcing strategies, including campaigns, events, and digital outreach, to attract diverse and high-caliber talent.
- Monitor and analyze competitor and market intelligence to inform proactive recruitment strategies.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of talent acquisition specialists, fostering a culture of high performance, resilience, and adaptability.
- Set clear expectations, provide guidance on best practices, and champion continuous learning and innovation within the team.
Candidate Experience & Inclusion
- Champion inclusion throughout the hiring process, ensuring consistent, fair, and inclusive practices.
- Partner with HR and Culture and Inclusion teams to support initiatives that promote belonging and representation.
Data-Driven Decision Making
- Utilize metrics and analytics to assess recruitment effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and drive informed decisions.
- Embrace AI and tech-enabled solutions to optimize workflows and enhance efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field;
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in talent acquisition, with experience in a fast-paced and dynamic recruiting environment
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience managing, mentoring and developing a team of talent acquisition professionals including monitoring performance through use of data, metrics, process improvement and strategy execution
- Proven experience leading talent acquisition functions in complex, matrixed organizations.
- Expertise in talent marketing, employer branding, and technology-enabled recruiting strategies.
- Strong ability to influence senior stakeholders and align talent strategies with business objectives.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data-driven decision-making and market intelligence.
- Commitment to innovation, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
- Detailed experience driving multiple talent attraction strategies and TA programs development and execution (ex: executive recruitment, surge sourcing strategies)
- Proven track record of successfully achieving talent acquisition-related business results and successes in a fast-paced, matrixed and dynamic environment.
- Strong consultative skills with a demonstrated history of engaging team members and stakeholders to influence business outcomes with members of the recruiting and HR organization
- Analytical Mindset--Demonstrated proficiency in leveraging data and technology to enhance recruitment processes. Using Data to tell stories and drive decisions
- In depth knowledge and understanding of OFCCP and other US Compliance and employment related legal requirements
Preferred qualifications:
- Prior experience leading recruitment for a commercial sales organization
- Strategic Talent Acquisition experience in a medical device, med-tech, or healthcare industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative & innovative approach to problem-solving.
- Exceptional coaching and mentoring abilities, with a passion for developing talent.
- Strength in innovative solutioning and challenging status quo
- Ability to reimagine a talent acquisition organization of the future with a demonstrated history of driving effective change management within a large organization
