About the role:
Our Interventional Cardiology (ICTx) team is expanding and has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Process Development Engineer to support our fast-growing Medical Device Capital Equipment space.
In this role you will be part of a high-performance team responsible for the design, implementation, and testing of Capital Equipment and their related sub-assemblies.
We are looking for a candidate with passion, experience, and capable of:
- Tackle complex technical challenges in a dynamic, global setting by driving end-to-end process development—from concept through commercialization.
- Enable cross-functional collaboration and act as a link between BSC and external suppliers.
- Run towards critical issues, ambiguous requirements, or loosely defined challenges with a demonstrated ability to rally teams to achieve business results.
At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows an onsite work model requiring employees to be in our local office five days per week.

Key Responsibilities:
- Drive and support new product design, test, integration, and transfer to internal and/or external manufacturing
- Apply technical knowledge to develop innovative processes, procedures, and tooling
- Execute the functional deliverables associated with the PDP/TDP and Quality Management Systems
- Provide Design for Manufacturability (DFM) input to the engineering print package
- Prepare and present technical data and recommendations at technical and business reviews
- Ensure quality system compliance for medical device development, champion continuous improvement, and adopt best practices.
- Research and evaluates mechanical and electro-mechanical materials, components, assemblies, processes and/or equipment.
- Train and/or provide work directions to technicians and engineers and may train manufacturing personnel when required as part of prototype line development and validation
Required qualifications:
- BS degree in Engineering, (Electrical, Mechanical)
- Relevant Experience: 5+ Years with BS, 3+ Years with Advanced Degree
- Experience working in a highly Regulated industry (Medical Devices, Aerospace, etc.):
- Previous experience with Electro-mechanical devices assembly
- Demonstrated strong cross-functional collaboration, influence without authority, and project/task management
- Strong written and oral communication skills
Preferred qualifications:
- Previous experience of Medical Capital Equipment manufacturing
- Work experience at PCBA Contract Manufacturer
- Demonstrated knowledge of some aspects of electronics manufacturing: ex (Box Build, PCBA test, SMT, PTH, ICT, AOI)
- Demonstrated knowledge with engineering fundamentals (LEAN, DFM, etc.) and problem-solving tools
