About the Role

The WATCHMAN Imaging and Procedural Growth role will focus growing WATCHMAN and LAAC therapy in two key areas: evolving LAAC Imaging (both pre-planning and procedural) and improving overall Cath Lab/EP Suite work flow and efficiencies. He/she will create an Imaging Strategy by evaluating existing and novel technologies and understand their benefits and limitations for use in LAAC Procedures. She/he will be responsible for creating a commercial model that aligns with the Franchise growth plans and launching those Imaging products and/or promoting use of those Imaging modalities to physicians via the WATCHMAN Sales Force, Medical Conferences, in junction with 3rd party Imaging companies, etc.  He/she will also partner with the WATCHMAN Clinical and Sales teams to identify bottlenecks within the Cath Lab/EP suite to reduce overall procedure time and turnover time. She/he will create the strategy to socialize best practices to existing implanting centers in the US and other global geographies. This role will work with a broader group of functions including WACTHMAN Marketing, Sales teams, Training teams, Clinical, R&D, Finance, and Global partners.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinate efforts with Sales and Clinical teams to evaluate various pre-procedural and per-procedural Imaging options for WATCHMAN and for competitive LAAC device offerings
  • Own the commercial strategy for all Imaging roll outs, including creating a commercial impact analysis, financial modeling, and internal & external education efforts, as part of overall Imaging launch plan
  • Partner with WATCHMAN Sales and Training teams to educate WATCHMAN implanting teams about existing and novel Imaging offerings and technologies
  • Identify existing bottlenecks in the WATCHMAN procedure and LAAC case days at the hospital level and lead efforts to address those bottlenecks.
  • Utilize Market Research and Advisory Board feedback to inform future strategies and recommend investment decisions
  • Advocate for and prioritize Imaging and work flow studies that can promote adoption of novel technologies and optimize work flows
  • Identify and recommend opportunities to publicize new pathways on the podium at major medical conferences


What we’re looking for in you

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Clinical, Sales, or related field required
  • 5+ years of work experience in marketing, strategy, business, training, and/or sales operations (Or Master's degree with 2+ years of work experience in marketing, strategy, business, training, and/or sales operations
  • Understanding of various Imaging technologies and limitations, overall procedural work flow, and impact to relevant hospital stakeholders
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to articulate a launch plan and influence key stakeholders and organizational leaders. Prior experience with launching medical device or Imaging products preferred.
  • Excellent project management; defining and managing overall schedule for project and milestones (both owned & assigned to others); often serving as project lead coordinating activities of a cross-functional teams
  • Medical Device / Healthcare experience preferred
  • Experience building relationships with key customers and external stakeholders
  • The ability to collaborate with a broad set of internal stakeholders, including Marketing, Training, Clinical, R&D, Health Economics, and Sales teams; and external stakeholders, including Implanting physicians, Imaging specialists, Cath Lab teams and other administrators.  Must have ability to drive communications strategies and influence stakeholders
  • Ability to define primary and secondary research needs and using qualitative methods to identify and address customer needs and insights
  • Must have strong communication & execution skills
  • Proven Business Acumen
  • Excellent MS PowerPoint, Excel skills
  • Up to 20% travel
