About the role – WATCHMAN Implanter Strategy and Engagement

 

The WATCHMAN Marketing Team is responsible for delivering marketing strategies and results for the WATCHMAN Franchise with a heavy emphasis increasing the adoption of WATCHMAN and Left Atrial Appendage Closure therapy.  WATCHMAN is uniquely positioned as the first and only Left Atrial Appendage Closure device with FDA approval for stroke risk reduction in non-valvular atrial fibrillation patients.

 

We are looking for a Product Manager for who will develop, plan and execute marketing strategies to execute a coordinated engagement plan with WATCHMAN implanters. This role will liaison with the product launch teams, Imaging teams, and Patient and Referring physician campaign teams. This role will set an implanter strategy and coordinate a seamless effort directed towards Implanters. This person will be able to partner collaboratively with a cross-functional team, drive market research, and translate insights into action.  This person will be a campaign marketer with experience in driving a targeted campaign strategy and/or an experienced product marketer able to market a product and unique features. This person will effectively interface with the WATCHMAN Sales Team to drive sales activities.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Identify opportunities for market development and execute tactics, leveraging cross-functional teams to achieve team goals
  • Implement multi-component Implanter Engagement strategies in partnership with the WATCHMAN Marketing team, cross functional team members, and external agencies
  • Collaborate and align with marketing team counterparts and cross-functional team members to ensure a coordinated plan to deliver overall revenue and profit objectives
  • Establish strong relationships with other functions impacting franchise marketing activities (Clinical, R&D, Global Marketing, Regulatory affairs, finance, Operations, etc.)
  • Partner with the sales leadership to build targeted programs to enhance the effectiveness of the WATCHMAN sales organization
  • Continuously measure the impact of marketing and field initiatives, generating early learnings, and driving continuous real time improvement across all initiatives
  • Monitor competitive landscape; anticipate competitive response to changing market dynamics; and proactively develop strategies to combat competitive activity

 

What we are looking for in you:

  • Undergraduate degree (BS/BA) required.  MBA preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of successful related business experience; pharmaceutical, medical device, advertising agency experience is preferred
  • 3+ years Brand Marketing/Product Management Experience preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment and partner with internal/external stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills with an emphasis on data-driven decision making
  • Entrepreneurial spirit that can operate independently with little direction
  • Fosters/leverages strong collaborative relationships
  • Drive global alignment on key areas of product and marketing strategies
  • Ability to travel 20% of the time
