About the role – WATCHMAN Product Launch and Device Marketing

 

The WATCHMAN Marketing Team is responsible for delivering marketing strategies and results for the WATCHMAN Franchise with a heavy emphasis increasing the adoption of WATCHMAN and Left Atrial Appendage Closure therapy.  WATCHMAN is uniquely positioned as the first and only Left Atrial Appendage Closure device with FDA approval for stroke risk reduction in non-valvular atrial fibrillation patients.

 

We are looking for a Product Manager to lead the WATCHMAN FLX device launch and future product launches. This role will liaison with the R&D, Program Management, Sales Ops, Global teams and internal WATCHNMAN Marketing campaign teams. This role will focus on the WATCHMAN FLX device and features and differentiation in the context of the ongoing launch, continued commercialization and positioning with respect to competitive devices. This role will lead future product launch strategy and execution. This person will be able to partner collaboratively with a cross-functional team, drive market research, and translate insights into action.  This person will work closely with the WATCHMAN Sales team, Implanting physicians, and global Marketing counterparts. This Product Manager will have high visibility at Sales Meetings, Advisory Boards, and with senior WATCHMAN leadership

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Work closely with senior WATCHMAN Leaders and key WATCHMAN implanters to create and validate both strategy and execution plans
  • Establish strong relationships with other functions impacting franchise marketing activities (Clinical, R&D, Global Marketing, Regulatory affairs, Finance, Operations, etc.)
  • Partner with the Sales leadership to build targeted launch strategies and execution in partnership with the WATCHMAN Sales organization
  • Collaborate and align with marketing team counterparts and cross-functional team members to ensure a coordinated plan to deliver overall revenue and profit objectives
  • Continuously measure the impact of launch execution metrics and driving continuous real time improvement across all launch initiatives
  • Drive global alignment on key areas of product and marketing strategies
  • Develop a strong collaboration between both Domestic and International Marketing Teams to execute franchise launch strategies to maximize revenue in multiple geographies
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of the WATCHMAN device and LAAC procedure

 

 

What we are looking for in you:

  • Undergraduate degree (BS/BA) required.  MBA preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of successful related business experience; pharmaceutical, medical device, advertising agency experience is preferred
  • 3+ years Brand Marketing/Product Management Experience preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment and partner with internal/external stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills with an emphasis on data-driven decision making
  • Entrepreneurial spirit that can operate independently with little direction
  • Fosters/leverages strong collaborative relationships
  • Drive global alignment on key areas of product and marketing strategies
  • Ability to travel 20% of the time
