Boston Scientific’s WATCHMAN franchise is launching a new CT software tool to enable advanced procedure planning.  The software offers unparalleled value to implanting physicians and imagers to help improve patient outcomes and procedural efficiency.

We are looking for a product manager who can successfully lead the US launch, who can prepare and support launches globally, and who can continue to drive the software roadmap. This person should be able to work effectively with a broad cross-functional group including WACTHMAN Marketing, Sales teams, Training teams, Clinical, R&D, Digital, Finance, Global partners, and an external strategic partner. 


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Having a deep understanding of market and customer needs in relation to this solution
  • Utilizing research, data, and analytics about the market and the product to inform product and commercial strategies
  • Identifying key market access barriers and working with cross-functional partners on solutions to improve speed to market
  • Facilitating successful account launches and tracking key launch metrics
  • Communicating launch progress, updates, and key information to leadership and the sales team
  • Refining segmentation, positioning, and messaging to more effectively communicate value to key stakeholders
  • Building promotional campaigns and customer engagement initiatives alongside marketing and medical education partners
  • Engaging with KOLs to collect product feedback and to drive peer influence
  • Maintaining market and financial models to track ROI and to inform future investment opportunities
  • Exploring platform expansion opportunities with business partners across Structural Heart and Electrophysiology
  • Supporting WATCHMAN marketing and other functions with annual planning & budgeting to support the product 


What we’re looking for in you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Clinical, Sales, or related field required
  • 5+ years of work experience in marketing, strategy, business, training, and/or sales (Or Master's degree with 2+ years of work experience in marketing, strategy, business, training, and/or sales)
  • Medical Device / Healthcare experience preferred
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to articulate a launch plan and influence key stakeholders and organizational leaders. Prior experience with launching medical device or Imaging products preferred.
  • Experience building relationships with key customers and external stakeholders
  • The ability to collaborate with a broad set of internal stakeholders, including Marketing, Training, Clinical, R&D, Digital, and Sales teams; and external stakeholders, including Implanting physicians, Imaging specialists, Cath Lab teams and other administrators.  Must have ability to drive communications strategies and influence stakeholders
  • Ability to define primary and secondary research needs and using qualitative methods to identify and address customer needs and insights
  • Must have strong communication & execution skills with the ability to take initiative
  • Proven Business Acumen
  • Excellent MS PowerPoint, Excel skills
  • Up to 20% travel
