About the Role:
The Senior Project Manager will serve as the "Chief of Staff" to the Chief Medical Officer (CMO), acting as a strategic partner and operational leader. This role will oversee key initiatives, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure the successful execution of clinical and medical training activities. The Senior Project Manager will be the CMO's right-hand person, managing the CMO’s office and supporting key projects across the organization.
Your Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Assist the CMO in prioritizing key initiatives, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic business objectives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Gather input from key stakeholders to help define metrics, build dashboards, and track the progress of key objectives.
- Communication & Reporting: Provide regular status updates to leadership teams, ensuring alignment on project timelines and deliverables.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders across the organization to understand functional strategies, ensuring seamless integration across teams.
- Operational Excellence: Drive efficient operations, ensuring workflows are streamlined and timelines are adhered to.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess organizational performance and project success.
- Liaison Role: Facilitate communication between the CMO and other departments, such as R&D, regulatory affairs, marketing, and sales.
- Project Leadership: Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams on specific projects, fostering alignment and collaboration across departments.
- Team Support: Act as a liaison between the clinical team and other stakeholders, providing updates and addressing concerns as they arise.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 8+ years of work experience in project management and cross-functional team leadership role, ideally in a clinical or medical setting.
- Strong executive presence, comfortable communicating with and presenting to all levels of leadership and able to tailor communications to the audience.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of managing complex projects.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with senior leadership, teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to mentor and coach team members to achieve project goals.
