    • Work with cross-functional teams (e.g., hardware, electrical, quality, regulatory) to ensure release schedules are aligned with system dependencies and submission deadlines.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Act as a bridge between engineering, product management, quality/risk, and support teams to ensure comprehensive understanding of system performance, field issues, and upcoming feature developments.
    • Lead trade-off assessments and drive effective decision-making to ensure projects remain focused and on-track.
  • Technical Leadership:
    • Continuously improve the processes for software and system maintenance, release management, and issue tracking.
    • Recommend and implement best practices for maintaining system stability and compliance while driving software evolution.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in software development, systems engineering, software maintenance, or release management in a complex system environment.
  • Proven experience in maintaining software systems, particularly those with significant hardware dependencies.
  • Demonstrated experience in release planning and management, with a track record of successful and timely software updates.
  • In-depth understanding of systems architecture, software development lifecycles (SDLC), and configuration management.
  • Strong knowledge of system dependencies, hardware-software interactions, and version compatibility matrices.
  • Proficient in bug tracking tools and databases (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.

Preferred Qualifications:
