About the role:
Boston Scientific Cardiac Diagnostics is seeking a skilled full stack software engineer to play a critical role in the design, development and support of our back-office ERP system and critical software integrations. These applications support our Sales, Finance, Operations, Quality and Customer Service departments in support of our mobile cardiac monitoring business. The ideal candidate is a good problem solver, an excellent communicator who excels at working with the team to implement consistent, high-quality code that adheres to team standards for quality and reliability.
In this hands-on role, you will work on an agile delivery team which includes software engineers, business analysts and QA engineers to deliver high priority business features and technical improvements for our internal and external business partners.
Work Mode:
At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring employees to be in our Maple Grove, MN office at least three days per week.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Participate in all phases of software development projects, including analysis, design, construction, implementation, testing, and post-implementation activities.
- Create technical designs and discuss with team and area software architects to align on a consistent, enterprise approved architecture for new technical solutions.
- Collaborate with team on best practices for applying consistent principles for design, testing and deployment to accelerate team delivery.
- Complete complex development work and developer testing as part of an agile software delivery team. Development will focus on application integration services, high volume customer facing user interfaces and third-party API integration.
- Provide mentoring and technical support for less experienced developers as needed.
- Actively participate in agile ceremonies within assigned agile delivery team including: daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review and Sprint Retrospectives.
- Lead troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues and address challenges in solution implementation.
- Create and maintain system documentation, including proposals, designs, test specifications, and other deliverables as necessary.
- Collaborate with business subject matter experts, product managers and business analysts to document complex business requirements for execution.
- Perform solution analysis and complex problem solving to address high priority business problems and feature gaps in existing processes and software features.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science or engineering.
- 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Strong analytical skills including proficiency with the .NET framework, C# and associated development tools.
- Experience using asynchronous messaging integration approaches.
- Experience with Restful API integration.
- Experience with agile project management, development methodologies and tools.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics CE platform.
- Familiarity with developing and uses for Microsoft Dynamics plugins.
- Experience with one or more advanced front-end framework (React.js, Angular or other).
- Experience with GIT, Microsoft DevOps preferrable.
- Well-organized and capable of managing multiple priorities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed, action-oriented environment.
- Manage own work and priorities under aggressive timelines.
- Self-starter with strong, proactive work ethics and fast learner.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
