About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Coronary Therapies division, supporting the fast-growing Coronary Imaging business. This role is critical to advancing our systems development programs including software, hardware, and capital equipment, that deliver life-changing technology to clinicians and patients, while driving Boston Scientific’s market leadership.
As a key member of the New Product Development (NPD) team, you will lead complex, cross-functional projects with a strong emphasis on software project management within regulated product development. You will manage scope, schedules, budgets, and risks, while ensuring successful delivery in alignment with our long-term franchise strategy.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead multi-disciplinary product development teams through all phases of the project lifecycle (initiation, planning, execution, and close-out).
- Drive project plans across software, hardware, and system-level development including cost, schedule, risk, and performance. Ensure accountability and alignment to business objectives.
- Manage budgets and resources responsibly, providing transparent communication to stakeholders, leadership teams, and governance boards.
- Anticipate and mitigate technical and regulatory risks associated with software-enabled systems.
- Build strong relationships across functions (R&D, Regulatory, Clinical, Marketing, Operations, Quality, etc.) to align priorities and drive execution.
- Mentor or coach other project managers and functional leads, fostering best practices in project management.

- Software Project Management – Proven ability to lead software-focused initiatives within hardware or systems programs, preferably in a regulated (medical device, healthcare, or aerospace) environment.

- Execution – Results-driven, with strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 7+ years of project management experience, including significant experience managing software or software-integrated systems projects.
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional NPD teams.
- Ability to travel internationally up to 10%.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP certification.
- Medical device NPD experience, familiarity with PDP processes.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills; comfortable presenting to senior leadership and external stakeholders.
