About the role: The Sr Global Clinical Organization (GCO) Business Analyst & Administrator (BAA) is a key Clinical systems and process expert who collaborates with stakeholders and IT on projects related to systems implementation, ongoing upgrades/releases, writing system business requirements, and process improvements to aid in successful, quality studies. This position requires a higher level of clearance in several Clinical systems to perform administrative tasks and troubleshooting for end users. Option to work remotely. 
 
 

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Collaborate with system Product Owners, IT, and cross divisional stakeholders on projects related to system development, configuration/requirements, releases, testing, and implementation of fixes/enhancements. 
  • Work with colleagues and stakeholders to gain an in depth understanding of critical business (end user) system requirements. 
  • Collaborate with IT and Project Leads to determine scope of system work and write/communicate business requirements and/or user stories so that IT may translate into technical requirements. 
  • Work with Clinical Learning and Development to review training revisions and help to establish training content for cross divisional Clinical and system administrative process improvements and/or creation of new system related best practices, job aids, user guides and training materials. 
  • Efficiently process administrative data entry at end user request in VEEVA Vault CTMS, ComplianceWire (Good Clinical Practice (GCP) training), and other systems where administration is required. 
  • Act as a Clinical system user Subject Matter Expert (SME) interfacing with end users through email, MS Teams chat/screenshare, or phone to answer questions and resolve/escalate issues. 
  • Document specified tasks in the ticketing system.  
  • Assist in coaching BAA team in systems and process best practices.

 

Required qualifications: 

  • High school degree (or equivalent) 
  • Minimum of 3 years writing business (user) system requirements 
  • Minimum of 2 years system administration experience in Clinical trial management and/or Safety/Data Management systems  
  • Knowledge of end user facing and administrative functions of VEEVA Vault CTMS  
  • Functional knowledge of Electronic Data Capture (EDC) system (such as iMedidata/RAVE)  
  • Fluent in English 

 

Preferred qualifications:  

  • Experience with fast track Windchill document entry.
  • Working knowledge of Remedy ticket system work orders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook, and SharePoint.
  • Boston Scientific experience supporting Clinical Research, Data Management, or Safety teams. 
  • Proven ability to provide exceptional systems end user support through effective communication, quickly assisting internal customers, and guiding users in system functions. 
  • Ability to be efficient, work independently, be resourceful, meet deadlines, and problem solve as part of a virtual/remote team.
