Senior Sales Compensation Analyst
About the role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Senior Sales Compensation Analyst to join our Commercial Operations & Strategy team for our growing Peripheral Interventions and Interventional Oncology markets. As a Senior Sales Compensation Analyst, you will be within the high impact, fast-paced selling organization administering sales incentive compensation and territorial sales quotas. The role is an integral part of the business team and works in a hybrid work model.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Set up and maintain sales force employees in SAP and Anaplan systems along with corresponding audit documentation
- Maintain seller hierarchy account alignments in SAP and Anaplan systems
- Prepare monthly variable incentive compensation payments and manage pay feed data throughout the process
- Provide performance and compensation analytics
- Prepare and deliver communications related to incentive plans
- Document compensation programs, policies, and tools for the organization
- Research and resolve a variety of escalated compensation questions
- Work with others to troubleshoot systems, data and processes to ensure optimal utilization and make recommendations to management to improve processes and support of the sales force
- Become an expert on data sources, ensuring data accuracy when using them
- Follow/construct compensation related details at the granular level with the ability to communicate at a high-level
- Support business strategies and ongoing compensation requests by developing both comprehensive subject matter expertise and efficient business processes
- Demonstrate strong situational analysis skills to assess a problem, solicit inputs and resolve in a timely and efficient manner
Required Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance or STEM related field
- 5+ years of incentive compensation, accounting, finance and/or related analytical work experience
- Expert analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems using logic-based approach
- Excellent strategic thinking capabilities with ability to synthesize large amounts of information and logically structure deliverables
- Ability to work both independently and on a team in a fast-paced environment, prioritize own work, and adhere to tight deadlines
- Advanced Excel user who is comfortable with pivot tables, vlookups and building formulas
Preferred Qualifications:
- Medical device experience
- Proven track record of high performance, innovative approaches to quantitative analysis, and ability to multi-task
- Curious mindset, takes an active interest in data accuracy, and desires to understand the business
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
