About the Sr. Talent Sourcer role:

At Boston Scientific, you’ll discover a place where you can have meaningful purpose, improving lives through your life's work.  This role on our Talent Acquisition team will work closely with Talent Acquisition Specialists and Hiring Managers to understand the recruiting needs of the business and proactively identify recruiting solutions to meet those needs.  You’ll develop, initiate and execute sourcing and recruiting strategies to create a diversified workforce.  In addition, the role manages multiple clients and competing demands to attract qualified candidates while positioning the organization as an “Employer of Choice”. 

Your responsibilities include:

  • Partner with Recruiters and Hiring Managers to develop a comprehensive understanding of our open roles and build out strategic sourcing plans
  • Create an on-going pipeline of diverse talent utilizing search resources (social media, internal database, job boards, networking, internet searches, company targets, referrals, etc)
  • Seek to understand the long term hiring needs for the business to strategically source in specified areas
  • Work within the market analytics tool to gain a solid understanding of the market for the functions being sourced
  • Act as a consultative partner to the Talent Acquisition Specialists and the Hiring Managers in sharing market data, talent pools, challenges and suggestions for identifying talent.
  • Craft and send recruiting emails.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for improvement to existing Sourcing processes, procedures and systems
  • Review resumes and initial screen interviews to present qualified candidates to hiring manager and/ or Talent Acquisition Specialist for review.
  • Educate and sell candidates on both the opportunity and why Boston Scientific is an employer of choice
  • Be a leader in the sourcing space, stay in tune to best practices and share new recommendations
  • Work with recruiting team on networking events and Virtual Career Fairs
  • Successful track record of achieving targets, whether those be deadlines, recruiting goals, or both.
  • Self starter with an incredible work ethic and team first mentality.


What we are looking for:

  • BS/BA degree required
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Talent Sourcing role or related recruitment experience
  • Hands-on experience with sourcing techniques (e.g. recruiting on social platforms, crafting Boolean search strings, LI Recruiter, ER Campaigns, etc.)
  • Ability to utilize market data to create a sourcing strategy
  • Knowledge and ability to use LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Ability to screen, assess and present talent for open roles
  • Passion for networking and the ability to uncover candidates
  • Prior experience building a social media network
  • An eye for future thinking and process improvement focused
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple roles and projects at one time
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
