About the Talent Sourcing Manager role:

At Boston Scientific, you’ll discover a place where you can have meaningful purpose, improving lives through your life's work.  This Talent Sourcing Manager role on our Talent Acquisition team will manage all activities happening within the assigned scope to include Boston Scientific’s sourcing strategy and execution in the marketplace. You will develop, initiate and execute sourcing and recruiting strategies to create a diversified workforce.  In addition, you will manage multiple clients and competing demands to attract qualified candidates while positioning the organization as an “Employer of Choice”. 

Your responsibilities include:

  • Manage a team of Sourcers and develop a program that continues to strengthen and grow the team’s sourcing and recruiting skills
  • Be the subject matter expert in the sourcing space that uses creative techniques in solving complex sourcing situations.
  • Interface with Sr. Leaders on pipelining for leadership roles and/or market development.
  • Lead strategic sourcing programs that target and identify talent for a wide range
    of disciplines, engage candidates in a creative and personalized manner and
    pipeline active and passive candidates for positions of responsibility.
  • Facilitate a culture of continuous learning and improvement where peers lead trainings, provide mentorship and independently develop skills in support of TA.
  • Manage the sourcing process including allocation of work load among self/sourcing
    team by overseeing the volume, activity and results
  • Create an on-going pipeline of diverse talent utilizing search resources (social media, internal database, job boards, networking, internet searches, company targets, referrals, etc)
  • Act as a consultative partner to the Talent Acquisition Specialists and the Hiring Managers in sharing market data, talent pools, challenges and suggestions for identifying talent.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for improvement to existing Sourcing processes, procedures and systems
  • Educate and sell candidates on both the opportunity and why Boston Scientific is an employer of choice
  • Be a leader in the sourcing space, stay in tune to best practices and share new recommendations
  • Work with recruiting team on networking events and Virtual Career Fairs

What we are looking for:

  • BS/BA degree required
  • Minimum 9 years’ experience in a Talent Acquisition role
  • Leadership experience within a Sourcing function
  • Be a thought leader in the sourcing space in bringing new ideas to the BSC Talent Acquisition team
  • Ability to work seamlessly across business lines and build relationships in an evolving and fast-growing organization
  • Ability to lead programs and projects related to Sourcing and Talent Acquisition
  • Hands-on experience with sourcing techniques (e.g. recruiting on social platforms, crafting Boolean search strings, LI Recruiter, ER Campaigns, etc.)
