About the role:
At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring employees to be in our local office at least three-four days per week.
Relocation and housing assistance are not available for this role.

As an AI Acceleration Intern, you will collaborate cross-functionally to accelerate the adoption and impact of Artificial Intelligence across, but not limited to, engineering, manufacturing, quality, and business functions. You will support the development, deployment, and optimization of AI-driven tools and solutions that enhance productivity, decision-making, and innovation within the organization. This role partners with technical teams and business stakeholders to identify high-value use cases, prototype solutions, and help scale AI capabilities across Boston Scientific.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize AI use cases that drive operational and engineering efficiency
- Build dashboards, visualizations, or reporting tools to communicate insights from AI solutions
- Help document AI workflows, best practices, and implementation guides to support scalable adoption
- Participate in experimentation and rapid prototyping to validate AI-driven concepts
- Research and recommend emerging AI technologies, tools, and frameworks that could enhance business impact
Required Qualifications:
- Must graduate between Fall 2026 – Spring 2028
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate level degree majoring in Computer Science, Business/Data Analytics, or Data Science.
- Must be able to commit to one of the following full internship program periods: May 18th – August 7th OR May 26th – August 14th
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the Marlborough, MA Boston Scientific Corporate location
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse, cross-functional teams
- Passion to learn new technologies and find new solutions
- Previous internship or co-op experience
- Desire to work in a medical device company where real products get manufactured
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to translate technical concepts into business requirements
