About the role:

The ASC Channel Manager will be responsible for strategically leading and executing marketing related to Boston Scientific Endoscopy’s Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) Channel.  This individual will serve as subject matter expert (SME) for the organization, customers and our field sales team to ensure that Boston Scientific is properly positioned to support our ASC Customers. This individual will design, coordinate and improve both internal and external ASC programs and campaigns, and work across a wide range of both internal and external stakeholders to implement transformative program solutions that support the organizations strategic vision and agility. 


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for developing and defining ASC Channel marketing vision and campaign strategy
  • Plan, develop, and implement promotional activities, in close coordination with Product Marketing and ASC FSO to support sales efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Understand critical issues impacting the space and identify and implement optimal solutions to these issues including education, promotion, targeting and segmentation opportunities. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners including: Sales, Product Marketing, Market Development, Medical Affairs, Education, Integrated Marketing Communications, HEMA, Sales Training to ensure alignment and clear direction on ASC Channel Strategy
  • Supports field execution of marketing programs through active presence in the field. Develops creative approaches to market existing/new products and services
  • Identifies and develops relationships with ASC key opinion leaders (physicians, nurses, administrators) in the field, in conjunction with the Market Development Team
  • Channel responsibility for developing competitive analysis and response
  • Track/report on channel financial performance, analysis and action plan development to achieve revenue objectives
  • Collaboration with Sales Training in developing, coordinating and executing internal FSO training, and partner with Clinical Education Team on external customer education in line with Channel objectives
  • Generate investment proposals to accelerate growth of the ASC channel
  • Drive improvements/enhancements in ASC Customer lead management (via and sales follow through
  • Effectively work with Global Integrated Communications to develop a communication plan, inclusive of create strategic digital/social media programs and field support materials
  • Support/lead strategic Tradeshow, Society Engagement & Education initiatives and implement a plan to measure overall business impact and cost effectiveness

What we’re looking for in you:

  • Undergraduate degree required, with Business Administration, Marketing, Sales and/or Project Management Experience, MBA Preferred
  • 5+ years of successful marketing experience within healthcare/medical device industry
  • Campaign management experience, business analytics, initiative, leadership and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a cross functional matrixed Division with various key stakeholders
  • Willing to travel 30-40%, mainly domestic
