About the role: 
As a Business Process Analyst II at Boston Scientific (BSC), you would be the pre-authorization systems subject matter expert and main point of contact for production support.  The Business Process Analyst is also responsible for the enhancement of our digital tools, representing the business unit to define requirements and business cases for the technology developments. 
The Pre-Authorization team supports the entire US. Remote work will be considered for this role.
 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Analyzing business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processing systems. 
  • Approving account/physician registrations to BSC’s digital pre-authorization services.
  • Managing and creating Salesforce.com records for consistent and ad-hoc reporting.
  • Use of Excel, web technologies, and other relevant software and systems used in day-to-day operations.
  • Managing digital support tickets and troubleshooting issues; Testing fixes and enhancements
  • Project Management: Experience in project management including the ability to manage multiple project and meet required deadlines.
  • Writing user stories in JIRA
  • Communication skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills across diverse multi-functional groups, with the ability to articulate technical data and systems concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Coordinating with business and technology teams ascertaining system requirements, such as program functions, output requirements, input data acquisition, execution of user’s acceptance and may coordinate testing, and system techniques and controls. Planning, performing, and implementing process improvement initiatives.
  • Developing metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities. This includes collecting data to identify root cause of problems.  
  • May deliver presentations and training courses which could include measurement, analysis, improvement, and control.
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and solve complex problems related to data, reporting, systems and operational work and informational flows.
  • Data Visualization and analysis: Knowledge of data visualization and analysis concepts and techniques to effectively present complex data insights.
  • Interest in on-going learning of the US government and commercial payer systems capturing relevant trends and policy monitoring. 
  • Continuous Learning:  A commitment to continuous learning of emerging technologies and industry trends.

 

Required qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree or 4 years of equivalent experience 
  • Minimum 2 years of Salesforce.com experience
  • 2+ years experience with user story and test script writing within JIRA 
  • Experience with systems testing - Salesforce systems testing 
  • Customer service experience
  • Excel proficiency

Preferred qualifications: 

  • Prior experience partnering with a product development team experience, executing test scripts
  • Patient health information data management - Accuracy and attention to detail when collecting and keeping information organized
  • Tableau or other report creation experience
  • Pre-authorization and/or Market Access experience
