About the role:
As we embark on a transformative journey to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) across our enterprise, we are seeking a visionary Associate Director of Change Enablement to lead this strategic initiative.
The Associate Director, Change Enablement – Enterprise AI Strategy will drive the strategic vision, planning, and hands-on execution of AI change initiatives across our global operations. This role requires a dynamic leader who can balance long-term strategic thinking with day-to-day execution—developing enterprise-wide strategies while actively leading implementation, stakeholder engagement, and delivery of measurable outcomes.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of change management principles, AI applications in healthcare and business productivity, and the ability to guide cross-functional teams through complex transformations.

At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop a comprehensive change management strategy to support the successful enterprise adoption of AI. Beyond strategy creation, take ownership of execution—ensuring stakeholder alignment, managing communications and engagement, and delivering measurable outcomes through hands-on implementation.
- Drive the strategic alignment of AI capabilities with enterprise business processes and goals, enabling scalable, high-impact programs that empower employees, optimize operations, and unlock new sources of business value and revenue.
- Shape and articulate the enterprise AI value narrative by connecting internal progress to external benchmarks, enabling data-driven storytelling that accelerates strategic alignment, stakeholder engagement, and AI maturity across the organization.
- Lead executive stakeholder engagement by identifying and mobilizing senior leaders across regions and functions, ensuring alignment, advocacy, and sustained commitment throughout the transformation lifecycle and across all key employee personas.
- Establish a change network across key AI programs and execute deployment-related change journey activities in collaboration with change network leads, ensuring the delivery of high-quality events and materials for each deployment phase.
- Foster strategic collaboration across AI leadership, IT, and business units to ensure change strategies are aligned, integrated, and reinforced through targeted education and communication that support enterprise objectives.
- Collaborate with the enterprise talent team and other functional experts to deploy learning pathways that include change leadership and management programs, resources, and tools.
- Develop clear and compelling branding and communication strategies to articulate the benefits, timelines, and impacts of AI initiatives, promoting transparency and trust across the organization.
- Establish metrics to assess the effectiveness of change initiatives, track progress, and drive continuous improvement based on feedback and data analysis.
- Identify potential risks associated with AI adoption and develop mitigation strategies to address resistance to change and operational challenges.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Information Technology, Marketing, or a related field.
- Knowledge of change enablement concepts, methodologies, or frameworks, gained through formal training, practical experience, or self-directed learning.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in change-related roles, including at least 5 years supporting or leading technology-driven transformations.
- Strong understanding of AI and data technologies, including their practical applications in corporate environments, and familiarity with emerging trends such as agentic AI.
- Over 7 years of experience using change management tools such as stakeholder analysis, change impact mapping, persona creation, change metrics, and communicating the value of these outputs.
- More than 7 years of experience creating enterprise-wide and executive-level communications that support business transformation and are aligned with technical evolution.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality, creative communications across all organizational levels using a variety of channels.
- Experience contributing to global transformation projects through the implementation of change management and communication strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in diverse, multicultural, and global environments, with sensitivity to and respect for cultural differences.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Formal training or certification(s) in change enablement methodologies or frameworks.
- Experience leading change enablement initiatives within the healthcare or medical technology sectors.

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com--will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.
Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
