About the role:

Boston Scientific’s RPA Business Analyst will be part of a newly formed Global Business Services RPA COE that allows us to optimize and automate processes to drive strategic value. The Business Analyst will be responsible for the completion of RPA documentation and helping to facilitate and coordinate the end to end Robotic Process Automation lifecycle.


Your responsibilities include:

  • Identifying processes that are suitable for automation and provide recommendations to reengineer processes to improve automation potential.
  • Collaborating with business stakeholders and RPA Developers to conduct current state process assessments and design future state RPA solutions.
  • Working with process areas to analyze and optimize business processes to drive Continuous Improvement. 
  • Creating functional specifications by translating business requirements into technical requirements based on the analysis of business goals and objectives.
  • Completing required process and controls documentation.
  • Analyzing and observing processes to understand process steps, interdependencies, and applications used to complete transactions
  • Project planning & management including resourcing plans, timelines, and budgets
  • Coordination of project deliverables and activities.
  • Interfacing with cross-functional business partners and virtual teams.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Information Technology required
  • 1-3 years of experience in a business-facing IT project management role, or business/process analytics role.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including business process and data analytics.
  • Ability to develop design requirements/documents for automation processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to design, develop, optimize, and integrate analytic solutions of a complex nature across an organization
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to influence at all levels from multiple departments and geographic locations; awareness of cultural differences
  • Ability to solve problems collaboratively and build strong relationships
  • Strong self-direction and initiative; willingness to take complete ownership over projects and tasks.
  • Lean process knowledge.
