Business Consultant Manager I
About this role:
The Manager I Business Consultant will support the WATCHMAN franchise to apply continuous improvement methodology to sales and commercial projects to achieve WATCHMAN strategic goals. The Business Consultant will coach and mentor Boston Scientific’s Global Value Improvement (GVI) roadmap, tools, and training while partnering with the franchise to lead and support the WATCHMAN clinical team assessment project.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with leaders and their organization to inspire a continuous improvement culture by deploying process improvement/operational excellence roadmaps, methods, and tools for the project
  • Provide consultation on the project, help set goals and drive strategy
  • Facilitate kaizen events and other workshops to target key improvements and provide instant offense when necessary to drive strategic business priorities
  • Develop business cases and create future state plans for process improvement opportunities
  • Drive the execution of plans in partnership with the sales organization. Activities may include voice of customer, data analysis, process mapping, financial analysis, change management and program management
  • Influence leaders and teams to deliver on plans, support problem solving and resolution to roadblocks
  • Drive the adoption of improvement ideas & activities across the organization
  • Work cross-culturally, motivating teams in the development and adoption of best practices in difficult scenarios

What we’re looking for in you:
Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
  • Proven results applying process improvement in enterprise-wide, field and/or commercial settings
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to make a significant contribution to performance and revenue growth; commercial experience preferred 
  • Ability to build enthusiasm for change
  • Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills
  • Comprehensive program and project management experience leading large-scale initiatives
