About this role:
Calibrates inspection, measuring, and test (IM&T) equipment in compliance with calibration procedures, requirement documents, and standard operating procedures.

 

Work Mode 
At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a onsite work model, requiring employees to be in our local office five days per week.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Maintains a daily schedule of work to be performed with minimal supervision.
  • Provides timely verbal and written communications with equipment users and owning departments, including communicating calibration status.
  • Completes calibration of IM&T equipment in accordance with all required procedures, applicable regulatory requirements and quality requirements.
  • Records and verifies calibration data, comparing to known standards and criteria.
  • Coordinates calibration of equipment with outside service vendors.
  • Ensures calibration standards are maintained to prevent or minimize damage or deterioration.
  • Identifies and corrects errors in existing procedures for calibration of IM&T equipment.

 

Required qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • Experience working in a regulated industry (e.g., medical device, pharmaceutical, aerospace)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel)
  • Quality mindset, with attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, with strong work ethic
     

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates or Bachelors Degree
  • Experience using calibrated equipment in a laboratory or manufacturing environment
  • Experience using Blue Mountain Regulatory Asset Manager (BMRAM) software
  • Clear communicator (verbal and written)
  • Able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds occasionally, to access and handle equipment

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com—will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

 

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

 

Compensation for exempt, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
