About the role:

Magellan is Boston Scientific’s global business transformation program supporting the transition of our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system from ECC to S/4HANA. The goal of Magellan is to simplify, standardize, and modernize our core business processes, enabling BSC to harness the power of data and position the business for profitable and sustainable growth.

The Magellan Change Management Lead reports to the Senior Manager, MedSurg Project Manager of the Magellan team. This role focuses on deployment and program communications, stakeholder engagement, change impact analysis, and guiding the end-user journey across our Finance, Commercial, R&D, Clinical, Quality and Regulatory teams in support of the Magellan Business Transformation program.

Work model, sponsorship, relocation:

At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week. Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position at this time. Relocation assistance is not available for this position at this time.

Your responsibilities will include:

● Execute deployment change journey activities (e.g., stakeholder assessments, kickoffs, open office hours) in collaboration with Magellan Change Enablement and Cardio change network leads

● Deliver high-quality change events and materials tailored to each phase of deployment

● Partner with Business Functional Leads, Product Owners, and Change Network Leads to document, validate, and map change impacts to end-user roles

● Develop and update user personas aligned with each release, prioritizing high-impact, high-complexity end-user groups

● Create and manage program communications for internal teams and broader stakeholder audiences

● Support the Magellan SharePoint site, including stakeholder/end-user list management, News post creation, and site analytics review

● Measure effectiveness of change and communication activities through focus groups, surveys, and digital analytics

● Work independently on complex issues, escalating only the most critical to senior staff

● Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Required qualifications:

● Minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience in change management, communications, or a related field

● Proven success delivering high-quality, creative communications across multiple formats and organizational levels

● Experience implementing change and communications strategies in a global transformation program

● Ability to work effectively across global teams and navigate cultural diversity

Preferred qualifications:

● Association of Change Management Professionals (ACMP) and/or PROSCI Certification

● Minimum of 5 years' experience with change management tools and methodologies (e.g., stakeholder analysis, change impact mapping, persona creation, change measurement)

● Minimum of 5 years' experience developing enterprise-wide and executive-level communications using varied delivery channels

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com—will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

 

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

 

Compensation for exempt, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
