Purpose Statement

The Clinical Field Trainer is responsible and accountable for providing product and related procedural training to physicians focusing on the SpaceOAR Hydrogel product family. Travels routinely (50-75%) to assess training needs and evaluate training effectiveness. This role will be responsible for all aspects of training, including pre procedural, live case support and the certification of physicians and field representatives. The position will also be responsible for providing input and feedback for the development & maintenance of training materials.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary resource for initial clinical training and certification of physicians.
  • Plan and conduct training sessions with physicians emphasizing assigned products and related procedures.
  • Work with sales force to determine clinical training needs within an assigned region.
  • Educate customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products by giving presentations and demonstrations using a wide variety of formats and platforms.
  • Respond to customer needs and complaints regarding products and service by developing creative and feasible solutions or working with other related personnel to develop optimal solutions.
  • Ensure timely collection, reporting of all required medical documentation pertaining to our procedural device operation.
  • Will be responsible for playing a role that includes input and coordination for the development of a physician education program.

 

Required qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 12 months being SpaceOAR Certified 
  • Ability to travel up to 75% 

 

Preferred qualifications: 

  • Minimum of 2 years of medical device experience
