About the role:
As a CoE Anaplan Model Builder, you will be responsible for working with stakeholders to design and build innovative SPM solutions customized to fit the needs of their business. This role leads implementations and coaches stakeholders on Anaplan best practices and implementation skills. Successful candidates will excel at balancing competing priorities, including leading and model building, while supporting issues and updates in existing models based on stakeholder feedback.
Work model, sponsorship, relocation:
At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week. Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position at this time. Relocation assistance is not available for this position at this time.
Your responsibilities will include:

Partner closely with divisional compensation teams and the Sales Compensation CoE team to build and optimize Anaplan solutions that support business needs.

Support existing Anaplan models by continually improving functionality, adding new capabilities, and resolving errors.

Support the long-term execution of the Anaplan roadmap for Boston Scientific and help extend connected planning across Sales Incentive Compensation, Quota Setting, Territory Management and Optimization, Headcount Planning, and Compensation Modeling.

Collaborate with IT partners, other applications, and business units to streamline and monitor data flows and identify opportunities for automation and increased efficiencies.

Enhance reporting capabilities to provide additional insights and analytics from data in existing models.

Identify opportunities for business process improvements and establish effective and efficient processes on an ongoing basis.

Provide training and share Anaplan model-building best practices to support divisional compensation analysts in using Anaplan to its full potential.

Communicate task status appropriately and manage project timelines and action items.
Qualifications:
Required qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree.
-
Minimum of 3 years' experience in Sales Operations, Finance, or a closely related function.

Minimum of 3 years' experience with Anaplan model building; Level 2 or higher Anaplan certification is highly preferred.

Experience with sales compensation and commissions processes.

Ability to quickly learn new technology and deliver meaningful results.

Strong math skills and business acumen with the ability to solve complex problems using a logic-based approach.

Expert-level Excel experience.

Excellent strategic thinking skills with the ability to synthesize large amounts of information and logically structure deliverables.

Experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Tableau.

Experience working with sales compensation solutions, including Anaplan.

Familiarity with MS Access, Salesforce, SQL, and other programming languages.
Preferred qualifications:

Experience with data integration tools such as Informatica, MuleSoft, or Boomi.

Experience with data warehouses and intermediate data lakes such as Snowflake, Databricks, Google BigQuery, or S3.
