About the role:

The Digital Marketing & Technology Manager (DMM) develops global integrated marketing programs to align with the overall marketing and communications objectives of the division and its franchises. The successful candidate will act as the digital experience subject matter expert, consulting with the Global Integrated Communication Specialists to ensure all integrated marketing communications programs appropriately strategize and execute digital marketing tactics to provide a seamless end-to-end customer experience that meets the business needs.  This role will primarily drive HCP related campaigns and qualified candidates will be fluent in today’s digital marketing ecosystem (CRM, Email, advertising, social etc.) This person will report into the Global Digital Marketing group with strong connection to our Endoscopy Division acting as a member of their team as well.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Lead development of a customer-centric digital strategy and influence a user-first mindset across integrated marketing communications.
  • Develop a strong understanding of our customers and their attitudes and behaviors across platforms, channels and activities to provide segmentation and personalization to the integrated marketing communications plans.
  • Develop comprehensive digital plans for awareness and lead generation campaigns (SEO & SEM, digital advertising, email, social media, landing pages, etc.)  with measurable objectives.
    • Lead persona development and journey mapping exercises with cross-functional teams and support tactical integrated communication plans that align with the customer journey.
    • Develop and build detailed content journeys and trigger points for campaigns that align to the overall customer journey map delivering the right content to our customers at each stage in their decision journey.
  • Partner with analytics resource and sales operations team to show value of campaigns and provide a regular cadence of reports for campaigns.  Share technological advances and their potential impact on communications strategy and customer behavior.
  • Build, activate and manage cross-functional relationships with Integrated Marketing, Digital Marketing, Analytics, UX/Design, MarTech, IT and others as needed to ensure a seamless end to end customer experience. 
  • Identify and communicate trends and opportunities through a working knowledge of analytics, SEO, lead generation, 3rd party research, competitive analysis, digital trends and past campaign data.
  • Influence various functions and levels within the organization with strong interpersonal communication skills, written and presentation skills.
  • Partner with global teams to ensure integrated communication plans are appropriately aligned and best practices are shared.
  • Manage multiple programs at once and effectively prioritize work.
  • Play a thought-leader role by sharing knowledge and best practices with both internal and external teams.

What we’re looking for in you:

  • 7+ years of overall marketing and communications experience
  • 3+ years driving customer-centric integrated marketing plans in a B2C or B2B environment.
  • Experience in medical device, biopharma, healthcare or another regulated field is preferred.
  • Strong digital marketing acumen and a proven track record of developing and selling impactful marketing communication programs that drive business results.
  • Thorough understanding of digital platforms, channels (email, SEO, SEM, Social, and advertising including programmatic), user experience and content strategy is preferred.
  • Extensive experience in developing segmented digital communications programs driving customers through a decision journey. 
  • Bachelor’s degree required, ideally in Marketing. MBA preferred.
  • Travel: 5% more or less depending on project; candidate should be comfortable with travel and overtime.
