About the Role:

The Director of Sales Operations and Training is responsible for ensuring that the department supports the selling efforts of the field sales organization through process optimization, consistent policies, reporting mechanisms and appropriate use of technology. In addition, successful candidate will define and execute the department’s strategic plans.  Establish objectives for sales training programs and meetings.  Responsible for the successful execution of all training programs.


Your Responsibilities include:

Provides leadership on day to day tasks for team members.

Sets consistent policies with respect to field sales support activities.

Defines field sales plan allocation and maintenance processes.

Provides direction in setting travel and expense budgets and guidelines.

Optimizes existing processes through appropriate use of technology.

Provides field sales management with reporting and mechanisms relative to field sales personnel performance.

Implements new processes as they become relevant for the selling organization.

Supports divisional aspects GPO and IDN sales negotiations through price modeling, trending and comparison.

Assists in setting long term information technology goals for the selling organization.

Work with Directors of Sales and Directors of Marketing to maintain knowledge of the industry and the competition to modify and prioritize sales training strategies.

Work closely with the Directors of Sales and the Directors of Marketing on various strategic projects.

Work with Directors of Sales and Region Managers to coordinate Sales Training team field assignments.

Provide feedback to VP of Sales received from field on training events and meeting support provided to the field.

Ensure all meetings and trainings align with the company’s direction and goals.

Assess needs and methods for continuous improvement in sales productivity.



What we are looking for in you:

Minimum Qualifications:


Education: Bachelor’s Degree Required

Minimum 5 years’ experience in the areas of sales operations, finance and/or sales and/or sales training Minimum 2 years’ experience leading teams in the areas of sales operations, finance and/or sales and/or sales training Proven successful track record in the identified areas of focus sales operations, finance, sales, sales training
