About the Role

This role will be responsible for creating, directing and executing direct to physician marketing activities for the core stone franchise for Boston Scientific.  This will include product launch as well as marketing of current product offerings to drive above market revenue growth.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Become the product expert to serve as a clinical and functional advisor to external and internal customers
  • Develops relationships with global key opinion leaders to help understand how to best drive adoption and awareness of our products 
  • Drive international above market product growth for assigned products/franchises.  Drive international expansion where appropriate.
  • Creates relationships and strategic partnerships with physician thought leaders to execute critical franchise & business initiatives.  Regularly connects to drive education, market adoption and innovation of BSC products.
  • Develops and executes, on collaboration with upstream marketing, high-quality launch plans, value propositions, positioning, customer targeting, pricing strategies, branding strategy, evidence strategy, etc. for new products
  • Creates innovative downstream marketing solutions, programs and tools (presentations, selling materials, tradeshows, etc.)  to create value and support the needs of the Sales team
  • Spends time in the field to gain global market and clinical insights, as well as build relationships with key physicians
  • Identify best practices to address key business challenges and opportunities
  • Drive the creation of product and portfolio messaging utilizing cross functional input and feedback, market research, and KOL interactions
  • Analyze competitive information, & develop sales & marketing strategies and responses to competitive product launches
  • Work with Clinical Education and marketing development to shape and execute KOL strategies, symposia efforts and tradeshow execution
  • Develops franchise forecasts for supply chain as well as overall revenue planning
  • Manages in collaboration with supply chain, product supply and backorder maintenance and planning


What we’re looking for in you:

  • BA/BS required, Master’s/MBA strongly preferred
  • Must have minimum 3-5 years’ experience in downstream marketing, product launch and training efforts. Must have commercialization experience in a marketing environment.
  • Ability to manage product launches and commercialization experience required
  • Must have experience establishing and maintaining KOL relationships, global experience preferred
  • Demonstrated success collaborating as an integral cross-functional team member
  • Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience managing products that are medically/clinically oriented; medical device experience preferred
  • Clinical expertise in medical device product line or demonstrated ability to quickly develop expertise
  • Position requires ~35% travel (including international travel)
