Title: Emerging Leaders Program (‘ELP’)

Our Purpose:  

Boston Scientific’s Emerging Leaders Program (‘ELP’) aims to help rising college juniors discover their interests, passions, and skills, and assist in charting the first steps of their professional career. The ELP is designed as an introduction to Boston Scientific’s business units, job functions, company culture, and values through a robust offering of networking opportunities, team building activities, and leadership development trainings over the course of a three-day leadership summit. The aim of the ELP is to develop interest in a career at Boston Scientific to be furthered through the candidacy of the Summer Internship Program and the Finance Leadership Development Program (‘FLDP’). 

 

Your Opportunity:  

 

As an ELP participant at Boston Scientific, you will… 

  • Gain a practical knowledge of the varying roles and responsibilities across Boston Scientific’s corporate functions and business units, as well as insight on the skills and competencies of successful leaders within the company. 

  • Network with Boston Scientific finance interns, current and recent FLDPs, and leaders across the finance and accounting functions. 

  • Experience Boston Scientific’s credo to improve patient health, enrich communities, and enhance company culture by participating in team building activities, a community outreach event, DE&I focused trainings, and a demonstration of Boston Scientific medical devices. 

  • Collaborate amongst a team of ELPs to solve a business case and present results 

 

Required Qualifications:  

  • Rising juniors with an Accounting, Finance or Business major from an accredited college or university
  • Prior leadership and teamwork experiences 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

  • Must be able to commit to dates of August 5-7 2025 
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization (F-1 students with practical training and candidates requiring H-1Bs, TNs, etc. will not be considered)

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills 
  • Skillful in time management and organization
  • Exhibit interest in accounting, finance, other business functions, and healthcare/medical technology

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com--will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

 

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

 

Compensation for exempt, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements.
