In the Endoscopy division, we provide advance technologies for diagnosing and treating diseases of the digestive system and airway.  We are able to provide a number of solutions to patients that include: Balloon Dilation, Stenting, ERCP/Cholangioscopy, Pancreatico-Biliary, Pathology, Infection Prevention, Endoluminal Surgery, Hemostasis and EUS.  We have a robust product line and pipeline, and we will continue to make investments in minimally invasive Endoscopic treatments.

 

Position Summary:

The Market Development Team is a U.S. field-based marketing organization committed to developing and/or executing the strategic initiatives of the Endoscopy Division through focused engagement of the top key opinion leaders within Tertiary Referral Centers. The position serves as a field-based Marketing representative responsible for market development objectives in the Tertiary Referral Center customer segment. Market Development Managers (MDM’s) and Area Marketing Managers (AMM’s) collaborate with cross-functional teams on upstream and downstream marketing objectives. A field-based MDM and/or AMM is responsible for focused KOL engagement with the Key Opinion Leaders in his/her area, strategic technology commercialization, market expansion efforts, upstream product development support and the creation and/or execution of key projects. This allows Endoscopy to have consistent access to these luminaries for product development, research, education/ training programs, and market intelligence.

 

  • Covering key centers in the Southwest area of the country (specifics still being defined)
  • Candidate must reside in geography with access to major airport

 

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Field-based Marketing representative in strategic markets primarily responsible for Tertiary Referral Centers.
  • Develop Centers of Excellence for training, technology development, and research.
  • Develop strategic relationships with Key Opinion Leaders.
  • New technology commercialization (Upstream and Downstream Marketing Activities).
  • Develop and execute customer Market Development programs.
  • Develop and manage education, training, and research projects with key opinion leaders.
  • Explore and validate potential new call-points.
  • Actively participate on the Core team’s during product development process for key technologies.
  •  Support new business development activities

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • MDM: Minimum of 8-12 years’ experience in medical device industry with a GI, Pulmonary or minimally invasive surgery company
  • AMM: Minimum of 4-8 years’ experience in medical device industry with a GI, Pulmonary or minimally invasive surgery company
  • Extensive Customer Facing Experience required
  • Sales experience preferred
  • Marketing experience preferred
  • Sales and/or Marketing management experience preferred
  • Fellowship Program experience (Fellow training and education) desired
  • Tertiary Referral Center and Key Opinion Leader management experience required
  • Documented KOL Development required
  • Documented experience collaborating with cross functional teams
  • New technology commercialization experience preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good understanding of the numerous functions and stakeholders that are required to run the business
  • Evidence of a high level of business and clinical acumen required
  • Demonstrable ability to deliver presentations to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience coordinating educational and R&D engagement initiatives preferred
  • 70% domestic travel commitment required
