About the role: 
Interested in learning more about compliance but not sure where to start? The Global Compliance Coordinator role provides an opportunity to support the VP, Chief Compliance Officer and Global Compliance Directors as well as get involved in multiple programmatic areas of compliance. This includes participating in communication campaigns, creating global trainings, assisting with audit reporting metrics, organizing team engagement activities, managing the Global Compliance calendar and performing administrative support for the department. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the entire department, learn what area of compliance interests you, and interact with stakeholders globally. 

 

In addition to supporting the Global Compliance programmatic initiatives, this role also provides high quality administrative services to the Chief Compliance Officer, support to senior staff, calendar and travel management, telephone and computer support, filing, team activity support, and tracking of documents, mail handling, and maintaining reference materials. This role deals with highly sensitive and confidential material which necessitates a high degree of confidentiality.

 

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Participating in Global Compliance Program initiatives (i.e. Third Party Intermediary identification, Integrity Week, Communication Campaigns, system implementations, etc.)
  • Creating and implementing team engagement activities
  • Supporting Legal and Global Compliance activities
  • Preparing/editing presentation materials, routes mail, maintains calendar, maintains project lists, schedules meetings and makes travel arrangements as needed for VP, CCO and Global Compliance staff.
  • Regularly interacting with executive personnel.
  • Developing and maintains hard copy and on-line filing systems by organizing information for accuracy and accessibility.  Orders supplies and ensures that supply inventory is adequate. 
  • Processing expense reports (may track department budget).
  • Supporting technology and scheduling for meetings.  May maintain corporate record books, meeting minutes, notes, and resolutions in a manner acceptable by corporate officers for easy retrieval and review.


Required Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational skills; able to set priorities, handle multiple tasks and projects; track and follow-up on projects.
  • Strong communication skills; able to handle a variety of internal and external contacts via telephone, e-mail and in person.
  • Proficient in computer programs, including MS Office Suite and Outlook.
  • Able to work independently and as team member, and exercise good judgment to handle a variety of situations.
  • Excellent grammar, proofreading, typing and business writing skills.
  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience.
