About the role:
As the Global Manager, Sales Training for the Endoscopy Division, you will lead the strategic development and implementation of impactful, enterprise-wide sales training programs. Your leadership will ensure alignment between global training initiatives and Boston Scientific’s commercial strategies, supporting new product launches, sales enablement platforms, and major national and divisional meetings. This is a high-impact role focused on elevating sales effectiveness and fostering talent development across regions.
You will collaborate closely with executive leadership, marketing, regulatory, and learning teams to influence training outcomes that drive performance, elevate the customer experience, and support the growth of the Endoscopy sales organization globally. Your responsibilities will include:

Lead the Global Sales Training (GST) team in the strategic design and execution of sales training programs, including EndoAcademy, National Sales Meetings, Divisional Sales Meetings, and product launches across multiple commercial channels.

Serve as a leadership presence within the Endoscopy Division, partnering with the VP of Sales, Directors of Sales, and the Global Sales Training team on high-impact projects.

Collaborate with Marketing, Learning Design, Regulatory, Legal, and other cross-functional teams (e.g., Channel Marketing, DMCxp, Professional Education) to align training programs with business objectives and compliance standards.

Integrate U.S. sales training capabilities into global regions and relevant Marlborough-based functions.

Partner with Sales and Marketing leaders to drive new product launches, strategic initiatives, and product promotions.

Oversee the development of tailored training strategies across commercial channels, ensuring regional alignment and commercial excellence.

Influence and support New Product Commercial Excellence (NPCE) training initiatives to ensure regulatory and legal compliance.

Evaluate and adopt innovative technologies and methodologies that improve training scalability, impact, and efficiency.

Recruit, manage, and develop both the Global Sales Training and MST teams, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.

Provide tools and continuous development opportunities to support the sales enablement and training ecosystem.

Actively identify, recruit, and maintain relationships with high-potential individuals to evolve the global sales training function.

Collaborate with the Associate Director of Sales Training to manage and optimize training budgets.

Design and implement metrics to evaluate training effectiveness, compliance, and business alignment.

Maintain competitive awareness and adapt training programs to meet evolving industry trends and customer needs.

Allocate time across core focus areas: 60% training program leadership, 30% strategic projects and professional development, and 10% field immersion for business needs assessment.
Qualifications:

BS/BA degree required.

Minimum of 5 years' experience in sales management or leadership, with a proven track record of driving performance and leading teams.

Demonstrated ability to recruit, coach, and inspire high-performing global sales teams.

Strong project management capabilities with the ability to prioritize and execute in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Ability to design and implement strategic initiatives aligned with organizational objectives.

Excellent communication and influencing skills, with a proven ability to work cross-functionally across diverse teams.

Strong ability to learn and translate complex technical content into effective training strategies.

Ability to travel as needed (variable, up to 50% depending on geography).

High-energy, goal-oriented, and creative mindset with a strong sense of initiative and collaboration.
Preferred qualifications:

Advanced degree preferred (e.g., MBA, MA in Organizational Leadership).

Experience in the medical device industry, particularly within Endoscopy.

Prior experience at Boston Scientific or familiarity with its sales processes and product portfolio.

Proficiency with sales enablement platforms, learning management systems (LMS), and data analytics tools.

Strong influencing skills with the ability to lead without authority and drive cross-functional collaboration.
