About the role:
Seeking a high energy Senior Global Mobility Manager within Global Human Resources to provide leadership and drive the end-to-end mobility services for an expanding portfolio of international assignments, US domestic relocations, and extended business travel. 

This role will be a key stakeholder in BSC’s Mobility strategy and will work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure BSC’s Global Mobility programs are aligned with overall Business and HR Strategy.  Responsibilities include ongoing refinement of  program design, oversight of key initiatives and management of  outsourced vendors. This role is tasked with ensuring that our programs are competitive and cost effective, aligned with internal business strategy and are compliant with all related rules and regulations.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage the various components of our mobility programs to meet the needs of BSC’s business, reflect our culture and successfully mobilize our most critical talent across our global footprint. 
  • Provide advice, consultation, training and support to HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and managers on Mobility policy, processes, and associated assignment considerations
  • Drive transformation from within the team, leveraging available resources of our HR Service Delivery Model
  • Work with key leadership partners to create pathways for the movement of enterprise-wide talent as a one channel to drive individual development and organizational knowledge in addition to meeting the short term and long-term resourcing needs of BSC
  • Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to maximize program effectiveness, develop creative solutions to meet immediate and long-term business objectives, minimize cost, and monitor compliance
  • Manage key relationships with vendors such as tax advisors, immigration attorneys, relocation providers, etc., ensuring that agreed service levels are attained or exceeded
  • Manage Global Immigration Function with 1 direct report, working with external vendors to support the movement of key talent across the globe. 
  • Reports to the Director of NA Benefits and Global Mobility

 

What we’re looking for:

 

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Business discipline and/or 10+ years of equivalent experience as a subject matter expert in delivering and managing domestic and international assignments and immigration
  • Ability to lead/oversee assessment and analysis of complex issues and think outside the box proactively, strategically, and analytically
  • Demonstrated self-starter, self-motivated and proven success in influencing 
  • Ability to leverage relationships to identify needs and drive change to help reach business goals and objectives
  • Knowledge of immigration policies and procedures (work permits, visas, permanent relos).
