About the role:  The Global Product Manager, Imaging Systems, will support downstream and upstream initiatives related to the Kidney Stone product line within the Urology Division of Boston Scientific. This position provides an experienced marketer an opportunity to develop downstream strategies to continue driving growth of our very successful ureteroscope product portfolio as well as support upstream activities to further enhance our innovation portfolio. As the lead product manager of a strong double-digit growth business globally, this individual will work with global colleagues, other internal cross functional partners, as well as a key external partners to continue to sustain category leadership, and advance near future pipeline opportunities within this strategically important kidney stone business. This role will be based at BSC headquarters in Marlborough, MA (hybrid acceptable). 

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Serves as product expert and voice of business to both external and internal customers, as well as the broader organization, acting as the "go-to" person for guidance, insight, and questions regarding the product portfolio.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional partners, including sales operations, integrated communications, and field sales, to drive strategy, create innovative downstream marketing solutions, programs, and tools that drive product adoption, deliver value, and support the Sales team's needs.
  • Supports product commercialization efforts across multiple internal and external groups, such as product design, clinical evidence, health economics and market access, packaging and labeling, regulatory claims, sales force education, and operations planning.
  • Utilizes classic marketing capabilities—such as market understanding, segmentation, product positioning, message development, channel identification, and tool creation—to advance business objectives.
  • Collects and analyzes global feedback from key opinion leaders, current and potential customers, third-party market research, and internal stakeholders/global colleagues throughout execution of key strategic initiatives and/or product development.
  • Performs regular financial analysis of sales results to assess account-level trends and estimate the impact of new tactics and strategies.
  • Collaborates with supply chain management to develop franchise forecasts, manage product supply, and contribute to overall demand and revenue planning.
  • Conducts fieldwork to gain market and clinical insights while fostering relationships with key physicians.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing, medical device sales, or consulting
  • Proven ability to think strategically, create and execute impactful go-to-market plans, and develop value propositions
  • Experience building relationships with key customers and collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical capabilities, including the ability to evaluate data, market trends and develop financial models
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, up to 30%

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Experience managing medically or clinically oriented products
  • Familiarity with new product development processes and bringing solutions to market within a regulated industry
  • Global mindset with experience collaborating with international colleagues to gather insights and develop market-specific plans outside the United States
