Job Responsibility:

To create, test, and refine global value propositions, value drivers, and marketing collaterals for UroPH products from early development through launch and product lifecycle that communicate how Boston Scientific’s innovative technologies enhance clinical, economic, and humanistic (Quality of Life) outcomes and the healthcare experience for customers (patients, physicians, providers, payers and policy makers).

  • Gain a deep understanding of key clinical, administrative, and economic value drivers and unmet therapy needs for clinical and administrative customers globally.
  • Develop draft value propositions of high priority products early in the development cycle with support from Franchise Leadership Team (FLT), Clinical, Regulatory, R&D, Health Economics & Market Access (HEMA), and other appropriate functions.
  • Test product value propositions and messaging using available evidence, tools, and customer insights throughout product life cycles.
  • Work closely with various business and technical functions, mentioned above, to coordinate the development and execution of evidence generation plan that supports the Commercial Launch Excellence (CLE) process to accelerate technology adoption globally.
  • Support commercial organizations to create plan and execute delivery of messages through strategic channels (training of division leadership, National Accounts, Franchise sales, digital, social media).
  • Continuously update market insights and modify value propositions based on changes in market dynamics such as competitive landscape, new product introduction, changes in therapeutic needs, and others.
  • Participate in global customer (hospitals, providers) insight and value driver assessments.
  • Communicate value insights from market research projects to key functions (Clinical/Medical Affairs, Health Economics & Market Access (HEMA), sales, product development, R&D, others)
  • Train the commercial organizations, in partnership with Marketing, HEMA and Clinical/Medical Affairs, on value trends in the marketplace.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare-related fields (clinical/technical/business) required. Graduate degrees (MS, PhD, MD, PharmD, or MBA) preferred.
  • At least 3-years experience with progressive responsibilities in consulting, commercial or strategic marketing, clinical, HEMA or selling experience in the healthcare field required.
  • Strong collaborative work ethics with proven demonstration of relationship development with a broad set of stakeholders, including but not limited to external customers, marketing, sales, HEMA, clinical, and finance across various regions.
  • Proven track record of direct and indirect influencing to drive business objectives. 
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, financial and economic modeling and strategic thinking skills.
  • Ability to execute work in a digital environment (Microsoft Teams, ZOOM) in addition to in-person participation.
  • Development and execution of structured approaches to solve unstructured problems.
  • Creation of compelling presentations and effective communication of recommendations.
  • Experience utilizing a broad range of primary and secondary research techniques (both qualitative and quantitative) and an ability to synthesize and uncover customer insights and unmet needs.
  • Excellent project management, execution, and organizational skills.
