Boston Scientific is embarking on a multi-year enterprise AI transformation to responsibly and effectively integrate artificial intelligence across the organization. We are seeking an HR Specialist, AI organization transformation, to support the design and execution of AI-driven organization, workforce and workflow transformation initiatives across the enterprise.
This role provides hands-on analytical, research and coordination support across three core workstreams: organization and job design, workflow redesign, and change enablement. The specialist works closely with the principal and director to develop deliverables, conduct analyses, engage stakeholders and support implementation activities.
This role is well-suited for someone early in their transformation, organizational development or HR career who brings strong analytical and communication skills, curiosity about AI and its implications for how organizations work, and a desire to build expertise in organization and work design. Prior exposure to process improvement, change management or organizational design is a differentiator.
Work model, sponsorship, relocation:
At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week. Your responsibilities will include:
AI transformation planning and coordination
● Support the planning, coordination and tracking of AI organization transformation initiatives, including maintaining project plans, tracking milestones and dependencies, surfacing risks and preparing status updates for leadership
● Develop presentations, analyses and materials for leadership reviews, governance forums and executive updates, translating complex content into clear, structured deliverables
● Gather, analyze and synthesize data related to AI transformation initiatives, including workforce data, adoption metrics and workflow performance insights
● Stay current on AI, GenAI and agent-based AI trends relevant to enterprise transformation and share insights with the team
Organization and job design support
● Support organizational redesign analyses by conducting research, gathering workforce and role data, preparing interview guides and synthesizing stakeholder input
● Assist in applying task-level decomposition methodology to document role tasks, gather time-and-effort data and support AI augmentation or automation decisions
● Support development of job design deliverables, including job descriptions, role profiles and competency frameworks aligned to job architecture standards
● Maintain and update job architecture documentation, job families, career paths and competency frameworks as roles evolve
● Coordinate with HR Business Partners and Talent Management to gather inputs and communicate outputs impacting hiring, performance and workforce planning
Workflow redesign support
● Support current-state workflow documentation by facilitating process mapping, capturing workflow data and producing clear documentation
● Assist in identifying automation opportunities and human-AI handoff points within workflows
● Help develop future-state workflow materials, including process maps, role-responsibility matrices and supporting documentation
● Maintain the team’s library of workflow redesign tools, templates and methodologies
● Support measurement and tracking of redesigned workflows, including efficiency data and adoption indicators
Change enablement and adoption
● Support the design and execution of change management activities, including stakeholder mapping, communications, training materials and adoption tracking
● Assist in developing materials that help employees, managers and HR Business Partners navigate AI-driven changes
● Coordinate stakeholder engagement activities, including workshops and follow-up actions
● Track adoption and change readiness metrics and prepare summaries for leadership review
● Maintain an internal knowledge base of AI transformation resources and materials
Collaboration and team contribution
● Collaborate with HR leadership, HR Business Partners and cross-functional partners to support aligned execution
● Contribute to development of methodologies, tools and reusable assets
● Support knowledge sharing, communications and capability-building efforts across the HR function
Qualifications:
Required qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in business, organizational development, human resources, industrial/organizational psychology, analytics or a related field
● Minimum of 3+ years' experience in transformation, organizational development, HR, consulting, project management or analytics roles, preferably supporting large-scale change or technology initiatives
● Demonstrated ability to support complex, cross-functional initiatives, including organizing work, tracking progress and managing multiple priorities
● Experience developing structured analytical outputs and presentations for senior audiences
● Foundational knowledge of or interest in organization design, job design, workflow improvement or change management
● Working knowledge of AI and GenAI concepts and interest in their impact on organizations and roles
● Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to synthesize information for different audiences
● Ability to work in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with initiative and follow-through
Preferred qualifications:
● Experience supporting organization design, job redesign or operating model work
● Familiarity with AI agents or agent-based systems supporting workflow automation
● Experience with workflow mapping, process documentation or business process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma or Agile
● Experience supporting change management activities using structured frameworks such as ADKAR or Prosci
● Familiarity with workforce analytics and HR data interpretation
● Experience with tools such as OrgVue, Visio, Lucidchart, Miro or workflow automation platforms such as Microsoft Power Automate or Copilot Studio
● Experience in a regulated industry such as medical technology, health care, financial services or life sciences
● Experience in consulting, internal strategy or HR centers of excellence environments

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com—will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.
Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
