Your Opportunity:  
As an IT Analyst Intern at Boston Scientific, you will…  

  • be placed on an IT team with a specific outcome to achieve during the 12-week program.  

  • practice applying business analysis, user experience, data analysis, data visualization, project management, product management skills to real business problems 

  • complete a group project with other IT Interns that focuses on solving a real problem for Boston Scientific employees (e.g. automate cybersecurity alerts, reducing errors and improving response time by 20%; design and implement a tracking to manage reimbursement strategies and market access initiatives with greater clarity and efficiency; streamline capital equipment tracking and callback workflows by automating manual processes, reducing errors, and achieving annual savings of $14,000)  

  • participate in extra-curricular opportunities and benefits offered by Boston Scientific which might include executive panels, team building events, training, volunteering, flexible hours, employee resource groups, team sports on campus, gym access and global partnerships within Boston Scientific  

  • be evaluated for a full-time position in our 2-year rotational program, where we cultivate our IT leaders of the future who use agile, lean-startup, user experience and product-based practices to provide digital solutions to business problems.  

 

Your Impact  

 Examples of meaningful work by IT Analyst Interns include:  

  • developing a chatbot to assist employees in navigating internal IT support resources, reducing ticket volume and response time.  

  • designing and implementing a vendor evaluation dashboard to support strategic sourcing decisions, enabling product and marketing teams to streamline supplier engagement and improve operational efficiency.  

  • developing a Product Security Controls Request Repository & Workflow Automation Tool for the Cybersecurity team.  

  • creating new reports and dashboards using business intelligence software and data analytics to connect and visualize data for our business partners.  

  • partnering with our functional teams like: Supply Chain, Finance, Human Resources, Research and Development, Sales, Operations, Quality, along with many more to deliver top priority business outcomes.  

 

Required Qualifications:  

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Management Information Systems, Cybersecurity or similar.  

  • Currently a rising senior (grad dates between Dec 2026 - May 2027). Must have at least one semester of school left post-internship to qualify. 

  • Must be able to commit to the full 12-week internship program starting May 18th ending August 7th.  

  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization. 

  • Must have reliable transportation to commute to and from Boston Scientific's Arden Hills, Minnesota location or Marlborough, MA Boston Scientific location.

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com--will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

 

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
