Within Global Clinical Operations, our mission is to ignite what’s possible.   Accelerating trial execution through the unification of clinical operating systems while delivering real-time visibility is just one of the many areas, we are pursuing to achieve this mission. Specifically, this Senior CTMS/eTMF Product Owner is responsible for gathering, documenting and prioritizing the executive leadership, divisional and cross functional partner clinical trial management business needs and working closely with the corporate IT development team.    


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Articulates Product Vision and Strategy to the team, to stakeholders, and to external parties.  Establishes Product Roadmap in collaboration with Product Owners
  • Owns the collection of all business requirements into one consolidated, agreed upon list of clinical trial & site management, trial master file, and payments reporting requirements
  • Manages the product backlog and utilizes agreed prioritization approach to develop long-term activity roadmaps
  • Ongoing focus of continuous improvement through product, services, and processes
  • Identifies opportunities for cost avoidance/savings through product and process improvements
  • Oversees the development of the Veeva Vault Clinical; understands and anticipates divisional needs to effectively manage the configuration and implementation process
  • Primary communication and link between GCO, IT, divisions and stakeholders
  • Engages with regional teams to understand their business requirements and ensures they are included in implementation strategies for expanded functionality
  • Responsible for the final product of the development process; includes inspecting and evaluating progress through each phase.
  • Identifies strategic platforms and/or processes that allow BSC to get the most value across a variety of needs.

  • Siebel CTMS
  • Documentum CDC
  • Veeva Vault Clinical - CTMS/eTMF/Payments


What we’re looking for in you:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree, or an equivalent combination of experience and education
  • 6+ years’ leadership experience in clinical/scientific research and medical device experience
  • Leads through partnership with authentic and servant leadership principles
  • Effective collaboration and communication style
  • Experience working with clinical trial management systems (e.g. Siebel CTMS, Veeva) and clinical document control systems / eTrial Master Files
  • Experience presenting to and collaborating with all levels of management
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a very fast-paced environment 


Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior product owner experience
