About the role: 
The primary responsibility of this IT Project Manager role is to lead the IT Revenue Management team in partnering with the Business Strategy & Systems Development Group and the BSC business divisions to understand business priorities, and apply agile and lean concepts in the delivery of revenue management solutions that will bring increased value, capabilities and a competitive advantage to our business. This leader of Revenue Management information technology systems projects and programs, will be responsible for managing delivery, ongoing support and continuous development across multiple products and projects, directing all phases from inception to completion. Owns the vision and definition of the Revenue Management product and creates, maintains and prioritizes the Backlog providing the product team with the information they need on what needs to be built and in what order.


Your responsibilities include

  • Responsible for product initiatives prioritization and decisions on releases, as a result of a close partnership with end users and the business. Adjust product direction based on data, customer feedback, and business stakeholder feedback. Manage the backlog and continually de-risk the product direction.
  • Estimates IT programs/projects to drive business value: Understandings priority of strategic initiatives and projects that support optimized cost of ownership and business outcomes.  Establishes estimates and ensures clear project definition, proposal and plan.
  • Manages projects: Develops project plans and estimates outlining work plans, timelines, roles and resources; Identifies and leads cross-functional project team functional experts and business partners; Manages team progress to ensure achievement of all milestones and deliverables while managing risks and issues; Provides updates to management and all stakeholders of progress through frequent communications of findings at regular intervals via reports and meetings.
  • Incorporate Agile, Lean, and User Centered Design methodologies to execute on product development, implementation and operations.
  • Develops recommendations: Develops and delivers project recommendations to  management and all stakeholders; Presents changes in IT strategy/programs including technology selection and development, total cost of ownership and ability to drive business outcomes; Develops implementation strategy.
  • Manages implementation of projects: Develops implementation plan outlining work plans, timelines, roles and resources; Identifies and leads implementation team including local business and IT representatives; Works with functional team members to ensure that all supporting infrastructure including program guidelines, processes, training programs, organizational structure and new roles are developed and communicated.
  • Directs the work of employees assigned to the project from technical and business partners to build a high performing team. Maintain collaboration between analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders. Help maintain a sustainable pace for the team.
  • Develops and manages budgets, schedules and performance standards, tracking accountability of team to objectives. Establish and track measurable objectives for the team.
  • Implements a staffing plan by identifying resource requirements, writing justifications for additional personnel, works with supervisor to obtain approval for changes, and coordinates the selection process with Human Resources.
  • Develops direct reports by securing appropriate training, assigning progressively challenging tasks, applying progressive disciplinary action as appropriate and conducting formal written and verbal performance reviews.
  • Consults with internal project groups by sharing project management knowledge and assisting or mentoring more junior project leaders in project management processes and techniques.
  • Participates in external project management organizations, conferences and seminars to keep current with industry best practices in project management by joining professional associations and implementing a professional development plan with focus on project management.


What we're looking for: 

Reqiured Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • 10+ years of work experience; 7+ years devoted to IT projects, with proven track record of successful project delivery in a variety of technical areas
  • Demonstrated project management experience leading cross functional project teams
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage large, complex enterprise-level projects
  • Proven ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • SCRUM/Agile methodology expertise with enterprise-level application development projects
  • Proven team management, decision making and task prioritization skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently with excellent personal time management skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Ability to drive consensus within a team and influence outcomes 
  • Excellent collaboration and issue resolution skills
  • Proven experience developing and maintaining strong relationship across business and IT functions and with service/solution providers
  • Examples of creative approaches to problem-solving with the ability to focus on details while maintaining the “big picture” view
  • Ability to perform and deliver in a challenging, fast paced, rapidly changing environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a regulated industry
  • Solid understanding of and demonstrated experience in using appropriate tools:
    • Agile Project Management tools such as Jira
    • Microsoft Project, Visio, and all Office Tools
  • Scrum Master certification
  • PMP® certification
  • Experience with Contracting/Revenue Management processes and systems, including Powered by Model N Provider Management module
  • Understanding of SOX and other Management controls
  • Past management experience providing leadership, development and coaching to a high performing team
