About the role:

The Senior Financial Analyst will be a key business partner for the IT (Information Technology) organization with responsibilities including financial planning & analysis, reporting, and accounting, as well as global expense analysis in support of company-wide spending initiatives. The role will interact with senior management team members within the business supported, and partner with Corporate functions (Global Business Services, Corporate Finance, and Accounting) and Divisional finance teams.

The role requires an individual with very strong accounting, analytical, communication, planning, and process skills. This position will provide a strong foundation for a high-potential individual, with an opportunity to grow and expand responsibilities for the successful candidate.


Your responsibilities include:

  • Monitor and report global spending versus budget, perform variance analysis, and support IT global business owners to understand and control their respective budgets
  • Assist in all financial planning activities for IT, including strategic plan, annual operating plan, and forecasts for expenses and headcount; help ensure adherence to financial targets
  • Support monthly/quarterly close activities, including all accruals and reconciliations
  • Help develop integrated expense analysis, projections, reports, and presentations for business partners including functional leads and senior management team members
  • Manage IT headcount reporting and track trends (HC mix by service line and by region)
  • Partner with IT business owners to maintain control, and report on, all current and future outsourcing and/or insourcing arrangements; validate impact of change orders to existing contracts
  • Develop and analyze quarterly cost volume metrics for IT service lines
  • Contribute to the SOX 302 consolidation process
  • Validate, approve, and report IT-led savings initiatives and projects
  • Perform divisional allocations and charge back model analysis
  • Perform reporting and analysis of global expenses in support of company-wide spending initiatives
  • Drive continuous improvement of processes and analytics; document and maintain work instructions


What we’re looking for in you:

Basic qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 4-7 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Very strong analytical and process skills
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Must be a quick learner and able to engage well with internal and external customers
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint required; Financial tools (Hyperion, SAP, OPT) preferred
  • Ability to multi-task and set priorities/execute in a high-paced, global organization
