About the Role:

This Product Manager will work on our endourology visualization product line. The PM will lead upstream marketing initiatives, participate in new product development projects and new product launch planning and international expansion. 

This role will place a heavy emphasis on:

  • Upstream marketing, new product development process (PDP), product launch planning
  • Cross functional leadership and collaboration with product development project teams (R&D, Regulatory, Clinical, Quality Assurance, Operations, etc.), and being viewed as subject matter expert (SME) for assigned products, surgical practices and the endourology surgical market
  • Relationship building with strategic partners and key physicians, developing physician partnerships and key opinion leaders
  • Business acumen, marketing strategy creation and commercial launch execution excellence


Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Represents global marketing and franchises in developing new product concepts for product development.  Capable of being part of more than one product development (PDP) team simultaneously and leads creation of market specifications
  • Developing and conducting global market research, and generating voice of the customer requirements and translating needs into product design requirements 
  • Collecting and analyzing global feedback from key opinion leaders, current and potential customers, third party market research and from internal stakeholders/global colleagues throughout product development
  • Supporting product commercialization activities across multiple internal and external groups such as product design, clinical evidence, health economics and market access, packaging and labeling, regulatory claims, sales force education and operations planning
  • Spending time in the field to gain market and clinical insights, as well as build relationships with key physicians
  • In collaboration with downstream marketing colleagues, develop product positioning, marketing messaging and related marketing collateral, as well as key product commercialization strategies such as value proposition development
  • In collaboration with downstream marketing colleagues, participating and supporting a comprehensive launch plan and strategy for new products
  • Developing franchise forecasts for product adoption, supply chain as well as overall revenue planning

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a marketing role preferred
  • New product development experience or familiarity with the new product development process is a plus
  • Strong analytic and strategic thinking ability
  • Experience managing products that are medically/clinically oriented preferred
  • Experience creating impactful marketing plans and developing value propositions
  • Experience building relationships with key customers and cross-functional partners
  • Work with a global mindset; have the capability of working with global colleagues to gather insights and develop key plans
  • Domestic and international travel up to 30%
