About the role:
Boston Scientific’s Credentialing Team delivers outstanding service to enable Sales Rep access to US Hospital accounts. We ensure our Sales Reps are compliant with hospitals’ credentialing requirements, which can vary greatly. Our team verifies and provides required company documentation, assists with Credentialing vendor registrations, and enables our Reps to successfully call on customer accounts and improve patients’ lives. The work is fast paced, challenging, and rewarding. 
The Credentialing Analyst II is responsible for supporting strategic Credentialing services while providing key business insights to Sales Management.  This role will be responsible for managing complex Credentialing requests, including resolving urgent issues, supporting the onboarding process of new Reps and territory alignments, overseeing vendor relationships, and making recommendations for continuous process improvement. The role provides reporting, analytics and Credentialing support to the selling organizations to help drive success for the divisions.  The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong analytical, technical and organizational skills who develops efficient solutions to unique problems.  This role frequently partners with other functions within the organization.
 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Reporting & Metrics
    • Monthly calculation and reporting of Credentialing-related volume and activity by division, priority, and effort level.
    • Support the field sales teams by providing analytics and reporting to key stakeholders.
    • Provide consistent reporting through databases that help to identify key credentialing trends and areas of opportunity.
    • Divisional report-outs of COVID-19 data including vaccination rates, hospital requirements, and anticipated business impact.
  • Technology & Communications
    • Serve as team lead for the CredentialME system for optimum utilization and performance. 
    • Serve as liaison with PMTeC Team for any system issues, upgrades, or required maintenance. 
    • Explore opportunities to integrate CredentialME with other platforms within BSC such as salesforce.com, Cority, etc. 
    • Identify business process improvements and related system enhancements.
  • Divisional Partnerships
    • Participate in various sales-related workstreams (new hire onboarding, training, credentialing account management).
    • Drive efficiencies within both credentialing and sales organizations. 
    • Develop/design division-specific credentialing plans based on needs.
    • Make recommendations to management to improve processes and support for the sales force.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Studies, or similar.
  • Minimum of 3 years of credentialing, sales support, and/or related analytical work experience.
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel, proficient skills with PowerPoint and Word.
  • Demonstrated experience with analytics.
  • Detail oriented but can manage and prioritize multiple projects while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines. 
  • Individual should be able to balance short-term, urgent needs with long-term strategic initiatives.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior Credentialing experience. 
  • Experience with third-party credentialing vendors.
  • Experience with CredentialME application. 
  • Team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work in the fast-paced time sensitive environment.
  • Experience with building long lasting relationships cross functionally.
